Oodie, If you can’t make it in person then online is a great solution. We did that with my Mother since it was during Covid and her friends were elders and it wouldn’t have been great for them to go out and about.
Yes, times have changed and it’s so crowded here it’s hard to go anywhere these days.

We have been lucky that everyone has been very kind to my husband in his dealing with all sorts of medical people and having to make a lot of decisions.

Hubs is really going above and beyond to help his mother. She seems to be in hospice care back at Assisted Living for now but we’re not sure why the Dr’s suggested hospice as she is still fiesty and aware. I think if she gains some weight it won’t be needed.

Once Hubs Mother went to the hospital the 1st time in April, we had to call off any travels or house hunting. We really do want to move. I keep threatening to tear the house down and rebuild it if we don’t move 🙂 lol.
Currently, there’s still much to do.

Hi Sheba, Sorry for such a long absence but helping hubs with his parental issues which has been a bit crazy. His Mother went to the hospital 1st, Then hubs moved them into Assisted Living, then they both were sent off to the hospital. His Father passed and his Mother just returned to the Asst. Living. Just taking a lot of time.

Thank you for the Birthday wishes! Hubs and son each gifted me some lovely flowers.

The big Wedding seems to be getting a lot of attention! Wonder if it will be televised. Since you posted about Princess Di, I remember watching her wedding on TV and being fascinated by it. I also recall when she passed. So young.

Sheba, Sounds like the gang has lots of heat and intense summer weather. I remember those days. My hair was crazy back then with the heat and humidity. It still is a bit. lol.

I read your post from last night. Like you I read lots and enjoyed it but I loved some of the TV shows. When I moved to SoCA everyone I met my age had pictures and no one read a book. lol. It was funny to me and reflective of the industry there.
