Oodie, You really had a lot of fun in New London. The people you met and music alone sound so wonderful.
I remember climbing on those rocks by the water, wet and slippery but so much fun!

My very early morning started with what should have been a 30-40 minute drive being 90 minutes (one way). I got there with 4 minutes to spare. There was a lot of traffic plus construction.
Came home and sat outside to get some sun so I know what you mean about needing that sun!
I’m watching a Top Chef rerun and Anthony Bourdain is on it. I’ll catch up on my exercise tomorrow.
Glad your Niece and her friends are educated and successful. It’s great for their future too.

Oodie, You mentioned New London Ct. Oh my, memories. We used to go to the Boardwalk and beaches there when very young. I even remember an awesome Pool and Polka pavilion.

Not much snow boarding for my son this year so far. He hoped to go while in Spain but it was just too treacherous.
Been thinking about your relative and her friends South of the Border and not my business, but I sure hope they cross back for good.

I baked some Salmon and then grilled it on my George Forman Grill. Hubs and son both liked it. I’m shocked. lol.

Hiked today and it was nice and sunny. Your Oz weather sounds great to me though.
The og neighbors have mostly all moved, some out of State, some to other locations ( one neighbor move to PS like your did) I like PS a lot but feel like if why move there when AZ is so close and so much less expensive for living costs. Glad your neighbor likes it.

Oodie, glad you have the lights. Do you also have some pepper spray? Someone suggested I carry a hand held item that when pressed is very loud. She suggested it in case any critters were too close. I have the Pepper Spray and a Cintronella spray. Hubs got me the Citronella Spray as its for pets (critters) and not as painful for them as the pepper spray. Fortunately I haven’t used either.

Sheba, I took a look and the 3rd one down, the ones I liked are already sold out.

Sheba, Hello! and Happy Saturday. She is certainly a strong beauty of a Skater and fresh air for the US. She looks happy skating. Her family story is also very interesting.

One of my neighbors is moving about 1 1/2 hours away to a more active community for their age range. It’s good for them but sad since I remember when her parents lived in the house and her parents were wonderful people. The change is good so they can be in a community with fun things to do.

Sheba, I watched some of the Women’s Ice Skating last night and really enjoyed it.

It stormed, mostly wind and rain so loud last night that I was up almost all night.
Some places got Hail. Oodie mentioned seeing a snake and I was worried for the snakes and critters out there. I hope they have warm dry places.

Last night we had rain and wind but my front plants are doing well so far, fingers crossed.
I told my son it was ok not to drive to work and wait so yah, he went to work….
He said it was way worse in Spain and almost dark during one days outing.
Seems like we all like to read. Lucky you with all those Professors on your Street. We have some interesting types here but many neighbors don’t really hang out which is a very CA thing.
