Just asked my husband this question and he said the same thing. I’m in shock. lol.

Sheba, hope it wasn’t too cold today and that the electricity stays on. Wanted to ask if the electricity goes out a lot there in winter? Hubs went on the roof this morning early and fixed a spot and now we will wait and see if the rain comes and if the roofs spot leaks.
Hiked today and got some exercise around people and walked later with a friend.
I did catch some of the Jewelry Shows.

Sheba, so far so good and he went Snowboarding and said the food is very good. I am having trouble here with having to change my pw everytime , so if I don’t post as much until this is resolved you know why. I have once again changed my hiking route not that it will matter since there are lots of people walking and biking in the area. I’m sticking to the side with most people and cutting the hike a bit short for now. Like you I really want to be outside. We’ve had some great sunny days with lots of rain forecast for Thursday.
It’s so sweet that Mr. Sheba watches Heidi with you. You have a long history of collecting and having so many pieces is amazing. I remember when we had the Sparkle thread and when you said they showed the armoire, and when others called into her show. It’s good you have a dedicated room for your collection.

Sheba, Wonder why power was lost? Well, having some password challenges signing in but here today. Nice your son can stay for so long. Mine’s in Spain.
Well the hike was great until the last 1/4. I came face to face with a bobcat on a busy day on a busy path. What? Some people coming towards me thought it was my dog. That’s how close the encounter was, well it was a beautiful healthy animal and started to head towards me as I backed away. Took my pole and started hitting the ground with it and it decided to go to the side into the woods just as those people were coming towards me thinking it was a big dog. There is more to this but you get the picture. I am surprised because it’s a busy area on a Saturday. Ugh.
Stay warm in Oz and hope the cats are doing well. I know Poppy is!

Anyways, sorry to hear you slipped and fell on the ice. It must have been scary and hurt.
The new trail is working well and a bit safer. It’s been a bit muddy and slippery but not too bad.
We did not get as much rain as other areas but did get rain and this meant hubs found a little leak. Not sure I would have noticed it.
The Covid is over and done and I started testing negative about a week ago. Now I am in disinfecting mode.
Great to see you posting and hope your head feels better soon.

Sure hope you and your husband don’t have Covid. If I recall, your husband has a Covid but you have not, right? My favorite weapon against viruses at this time is the antiseptic mouthwash.
Then you can still have a cocktail or 2.

Sheba, Hello. My symptoms seem mild compared to all the Covid stories out there. Luckily. I think with Covid you test positive longer than the actual symptoms. Not sure. but it seems like that may be. I’m staying in and isolating, with more Covid tests arriving tomorrow. The antiseptic mouthwash works great. My throat was better within the day. I use it a few times a day or more. Wish I had thought to do that when my son initially tested positive. I haven’t taken any meds yet and barely have a fever. Feeling lucky.
Oz sounds so cold. With all that snow Poppy might need a bright bow to wear. Hope your fireplaces are in use. Glad your son can stay around longer, makes for a great time!

sheba, glad you found Poppy. Sounds like a brief moment of fear. Oz sounds so cold. Well, my turn. Tested positive today. Isolating didn’t help a whole lot. I have a low grade headache and congestion.

sheba. it was fun watching Heidi Daus and was just like the days when she was on more often.
My son is back at work, Hubs is moving along, and i am isolated. Have a fever but am not testing positive. Hubs made e 2 mini bean tortillas today.
Very kind of your son to build a shelter for the cats.
