Sheba, I know what you mean about turning on the television. We had a reprieve from rain today but it will be back tonight most likely. Last night some areas had hale, and in the S. part of the County there were tornado warnings, and rivers overflow. Our area is doing ok.
Glad your daughter is doing better. It’s so hard to protect yourself with Covid. It sounds like you can be sick for a few days before symptoms appear. Ever notice how the word symptom is spelled so weird?

Sheba, right now the sun is out. Don’t know for how long. I was ready to walk this morning since it was dry and by the time I got to the car it was raining. I might try again soon.
My son isn’t feeling well now. It’s mild. He said its not Covid.

oh, regarding the sugar. My son mentioned drinking a lot of orange soda in Spain, and I said oh no, too much sugar and he said it was about 3/4 less than in the US. He watches his diet and knows about nutrition. He is much better at it than I was at his age.

Oodie, glad hubs is doing well. We have rain, sometimes more and sometimes less, but the worst of the storm is farther South or North. The roof seems to be holding up. Hubs is happy.

Sheba, Hello. Doing good this rainy day. My son said being in Spain helped his Spanish speaking and he is understanding and speaking it better. He also said the food was a lot cheaper and better, meaning less sugar in everything. We have too much sugar and processed foods here.
Awesome your son is able to stay so long. Working from home has its benefits. I did it too back in the day before it was popular. Basically my office grew and they wanted volunteers to work from home, being 1 hour away I jumped at the opportunity.

Sheba, Thanks for the fashion show above! Well, when your son comes for a visit, he comes for a visit. : ). My son is home now and had a great time. He didn’t go to the area you mentioned but maybe next time.

Sheba, sorry your daughter has Covid. In case this helps, the antiseptic mouthwash helped my sore throat go away the same day. Here’s to a fast recovery for your daughter.

Sheba, glad your pipes are fixed. Wow it does sound like a cold winter in Oz. The good side is you get to wear all your lovely sweaters and coats, and so does Poppy ( I imagine).
Went to hike today and it was sprinkling, left for an hour and went back and no one was there. The sun was shining, and the trails were fairly dry. I was spooked since no one was there and did a partial hike, then went to another park (with more people around) and walked. Just as I got home it started to rain hard. The roof is holding up so far.
My son will get home in a few days. I think he wants to go back soon. There is so much to see. Hubs and I are thinking of going there next but we shall see.
