Sheba, Hello. Hope you and family had a great Thanksgiving. I am feeling better now. Hubs and I hiked yesterday. A new place for me. The first thing I noticed was Mountain Lion warning signs. Luckily I didn’t see one and yup I was on the look out.
The local place I ordered food sold out. Yikes. Was glad I got my order in early.
I didn’t buy anything today either. -
haha 🙂

Sheba, What are your Thanksgiving Day Plans? Will you be cooking?
You can probably guess that I ordered food, from the same local place as last year and will pick up. It’s just too much with crowds and traffic to try going anywhere. My son is pretty busy at work so this will be good for him as well. You might find this funny but I order two meals and make my own regular food. That’s because I don’t eat meat lol. Everyone is happy that way.I’m slowly but surely selling off some Rarities. I don’t have lots, and certainly not as much as some of the HSN shoppers here. but will keep 7 items (one being the earrings hubs is going to repair). I like to hone things down over time, plus my taste changes or things don’t get worn so this is my plan.
Have a good evening! -
SHoelady, wishing your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Hope you back and knees are doing better.

Oodie, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your husband! Hope you feel better soon.

Sheba, your niece is so lucky to have such a great friend to include her in her buddy pass.
Not sure I mentioned this but my phone stopped working 5 days before our return.
Luckily, hubs brought an old phone and he was able to get it working with my chip.
Lesson learned now to always carry a back up phone. Well, I don’t have one so hubs’s will have to do. Once home, I had to buy a new phone right away. It’s chip is embedded so not sure how that will work if in the same situation again. -
Sheba, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I’m still a bit sick.
Your niece will have so much fun in Amsterdam. It is expensive there.
Amsterdam had lots to see and she’ll need tickets in advance for the Ann Frank house tour.
We liked seeing Rembrants house, and a tour in a wooden boat with Captn Dave as well.
Let me know how she likes it once she is back at home. -
Shoelady, Glad your back is feeling better and oh my, sorry to hear your Mother broke her wrist

Sheba, Hello! Sounds like you cleaned out the house and yard a bit. I came home to some dead plants in the front of the house. Pulled them out and for now am leaving Pointsettia’s in their place. We have a HOA to look out for….. 🙂
I am mostly resting and drinking hot tea.
Hope you have a great evening! -
Sharon818, agree. Agree with your post. Some confuse lab created diamonds with Moissanite or Cubic Zirconia but they all are great options depending on your needs.

Sheba, yes we have had rain and then more rain and it’s supposed to rain again now.
I made it to my vacation and then back without getting sick and just caught my husbands cold. or whatever it is. Been staying at home cleaning, organizing and clearing things out.Congratulations to your niece for her awesome accomplishment of a 2nd Master’s Degree!
Glad she decided to celebrate and mark the occasion. It was great to learn more about your past career. It’s always fun to know these things about people. Sheba, no one would have guessed my mother and her sister were models in NYC in their young years.

Oodie, a big thank you for all the Florida information. We do know a couple here that plans to move to the Villages. They do not have children so no issues there. We are here for now as my son is here but otherwise, I think something like the Villages would be a good move.
Hope your meeting at the rehab went well and that you are feeling better.

Oodie, Hello. Hope you feel better soon. Ms. Heidi always had new and interesting jewelry.
Sounds like you have made lots of progress with your remodel. I’m sure you can’t wait for you and hubs to be at home together again.
Do you hear about the Villages? Wondering if it’s in the storm areas or not, and if you hear good things. -
Sheba, Hope the procedure is over soon. Wishing you the best.
You touched upon something very important in your post. Saving up in case something happens to your job. This was a huge thing for me moving to CA myself, and even once married.
Your accountant family members are probably good planners too.
Glad things worked out for them.My son had a birthday and we took him out to dinner Friday night. It was raining and the area was crowded and even the restaurant had a wait. We went for sushi, sons food pick and I had a veggie sushi roll. He’s a sweetheart.

Sheba, It’s great that you are so accomplished and yes, you should be proud of your hard work and success. And I’m proud of you too! Kudos. Your career sounds fun and exciting and yes involved lots of hard work.
The women I saw walking on the stoney hard sidewalk in their very spikey heels and walking at a snails pace looked in a bit of pain and I don’t think they cared. Each had a Channel bag as well. It was so fun for me to see the sidewalk/train fashion. You and Oodie were talking about Heidi’s latest items (and without me 🙂 Just kidding). I saw that huge Greek Key set and wow. At 1st I thought it was multiple necklaces stacked but oh no. Maybe Oodie will get it.
I wore Heidi’s snake earrings (love) to two concerts and they worked great for me.
Sadly, my luck was not as good with the gold plated Rarities earrings (with the turq set in it).
One earring broke at the connector after the 3rd wear. I really like them but was quoted about $70. to fix it, so hubs will try to drill and wire something up for me. For the price the joint should have been made stronger. So yah, my last Rarities purchase. But I do love em.
