Nice afternoon with friends, good lunch, no cooking dinner, yay!🍤🍸 Probably sit down and watch some hockey and baseball with hubs this evening.🏒⚾ Or read a book if the games are boring. Funny, you asked yesterday about my niece. Got an email today that they did not win the tournament (high school team) but they did qualify for the state finals next week. I am getting so confused what each tournament is, easier to follow when it’s only her competing.🏌️‍♂️

What a cutie!!! Wish I had him to help with the leaves.🍁🍂 Chilly with a little breeze. I’m like you, furnace on, furnace off. One day it’s 50, the next day it’s 70. I’m just glad it’s working fine since I haven’t had it on since it was installed end of May.🤞

Mom and sis are fine. Sis is driving to Virginia middle of next week for a doll convention. So I’ll be doing double duty for five days.

My niece and her school team were supposed to play sometime this week in the state championship.🏌️‍♀️ Not sure what dates and haven’t heard from my nephew. Even if they lose, she has been doing really, really well.👍

Hi in Oz. Sounds like we have about the same weather although we won’t hit 70 until the end of the week. T and T looked so cute at the baseball game yesterday.🥰

Happy Columbus Day to you. You are right, good aromas from the slow cooker. Hubs walked in the kitchen yesterday and said it smells good. I told him if it doesn’t taste good, just stick your head in the pot.🤣 Plenty of leftovers for today.

Our weather is cool also, I’m not complaining. Not too busy a week but I think next week I have something almost every day. Feast or famine.🙄 Thanks to my bartender for all the beautiful drinks.🍹🍸

Good afternoon, twins for sure!!👩‍❤️‍👩 Hope you enjoyed your BLTs, our fried baloney and egg sandwiches hit the spot. Cooking up a roast with potatoes and carrots in the crockpot today.🥔🥕 And, yes, I do like Miracle Whip. I always mix it together with mayo when I make potato or macaroni salad.

Near 80 today, 50s tomorrow. The leaves they are a fallin’ everywhere.🍁🍂 Lots of work.😣

I was so happy to see you posted yesterday and you and hubs are okay.😊 But not so much with your home.😕 That is just a material thing, you and Mr. Oodie are the utmost of importance. I have to agree with Sheba that I wish you were safe and sound up north. Florida hasn’t been kind these last couple of years. Give it some thought, maybe things would be easier on you and your husband mentally and physically. I can really understand your husband worrying when he hasn’t heard from you for days.

You are right, all we can do is pray.🙏 I remember a couple years ago Oodie didn’t have power for a few days and we were worried. But she did check in once the power was back. I think her husband was still at home then so now she has the extra job of going to see him. Right now it’s still one day at a time – I wish we could help.😕

Nice day here, we had a frost warning last night.🥶 It will be in the 70s over the weekend then 50s for the first half of the week. Having spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli for dinner, yum!

Good afternoon in Oz. Hockey game looked like we had a high school team – terrible!😣 Oh well, only 81 more games to go. I did not last long watching.

Didn’t leave the house today. Hubs picked up take-out so no cooking for me.😊 My husband always does the cleanup since I do the cooking so no cleanup for him either.👍

Do you know what county Oodie is in? I keep seeing these reports from different counties and all I remember is she is south of Tampa. Like you, keeping fingers crossed.🤞

No backache…..yet.😣 Most of the furniture we can put on a dolly. The hardest is rolling up the rug and taping it. But it’s done until next spring. Plan to take it slow tomorrow.

Hockey season starts tonight for us.🏒 We already have some injuries from training camp and pre-season games, go figure. I’ll see how long my patience lasts.🙄 I did see TS at the game on Monday, she looked stunning. Not your normal football outfit. With the bye week, I guess she’ll hang for a bit before her concerts start back up.

Very nice afternoon with my friend. We talk a lot through emails but haven’t seen each other in over a year. Spent 2-1/2 hours at the restaurant (no martinis today, just water, lol.)🥗🥣🥖
