Hope you had a chance to rest a little today from your busy weekend. I will be watching most of the game.🏈 Our game last night was delayed 1-1/2 hours because of thunderstorms.⛈

Meeting a friend who I haven’t seen in almost a year for lunch tomorrow. Looking forward to that. Going one day this week to help sis put mom’s patio furniture away. Rest of the week the usual chores.

Good afternoon in Oz. Another perfect day in the ‘burgh.🌞 Just got back from getting the flu shot. Cooking up a turkey breast today, kind of a mini Thanksgiving, with mashed potatoes, gravy, etc.🦃 Leftovers for tomorrow so I won’t have to cook, yay!

Back to normal today.🥴 Ran to the grocery store this morning and did some odds and ends around the house. Beautiful Fall day, about the same for the next whole week.🍁🍂 Getting the flu shot tomorrow and I always seem to have a sore arm for days. Oh well, no cleaning!

Hi to you in Oz, my friend.🌻 Your weather sounds like ours. In fact, the sun came out for the first time since last weekend.🌞 We may hit 80 this weekend.

Power was out for a while yesterday. A car hit a phone pole on my road which took out many homes and businesses. All is fixed and back to normal.

Going to lunch tomorrow with mom and sis. Hubs is coming so I think I’ll have a drink or two, he can drive. An apple martini goes with a lot!😊🍸

My niece led her high school golf team to the district championship last week so now they will go on to whatever comes next.🏌️‍♀️ Big article and picture of her in the local newspaper so she is a star, at least for this week.

It has rained pretty much all day.🌧 This Helene just won’t go away. I read that the Atlanta area got 11 inches of rain in two days. That was a record since 1878.

Needless to say, I stayed home all day and did some busy chores. Hubs said I looked tired and worn out so I will hit the bed early.😕 Meeting mom and sis one day this week for lunch, maybe Thursday. Also need to stop this week or next to get a flu shot.💉

Great pic, looks like a special brew being stirred up. My glass is ready.🧉 Just finished a meatloaf dinner so the house smells good. Got the Chiefs game on while I’m cleaning up.🏈

Went out yesterday with friends for dinner. Very enjoyable and had a lot of laughs.🤣😅 Don’t do that nearly enough but it’s so hard finding the right time for everyone.

We are already getting some mild remnants from the hurricane, light drizzle and some brisk wind gusts. Leaves have started falling off trees.🍁🍂 SIL in Georgia said she was up almost all night with the rain and wind. Heard from her very early this morning so that’s the last I know. Glad your kids made it through all right.😌

Didn’t go to mom’s, just felt like hunkering down at home. Having some leftovers today, going out to dinner with some friends tomorrow.

One of these days the sun will be back out, it’s been a week of dreary and clouds.🌞 Talked to SIL in Georgia and, like you said, the weather hasn’t gotten real bad yet.🌫 Will check again tomorrow.

Hi in Oz, another humid, overcast day. My neighbor stopped with some green tomatoes so guess what we are having for dinner? Hubs just finished coating them with flour and the oil is heating. I think I’ll leave them all to him. The only thing I hate is the smell in the house.😝
