The technician was here before 10 am and left after 5 pm. He came with the part that should have made the A/C workable. It did not. Around 2:30 pm he said he was throwing in the towel and ordered a new machine. Another tech was soon to arrive with a new replacement. This one is purring like a kitten (excuse my pun).

I am hoping that shoelady is OK. While sweating in what was our dining room I read some news and found that the Mortheast was hit with strong thundrstorms and tornadoes. And to make matters worse, more is on the way. Theres tons of damage from North Carolina to Maine. There was a venue in New Haven Ct. called the Lighthouse Carousel that sustained millions of dollars in damages. The hardest part was informing people that their wessing was cancelled. They have no idea when they will be back in service. So now I’m wondering if shoelady is having problems with these storms. I hope she and her mom and sis have electricity. No fun in this heat and humidity.

I will miss seeing hubs today. I finally fell asleep around 5 am and was rudely awakened by Alexa at 7am to rise and shine. The tech was expected between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. What a day to be working outside in Florida’s heat and humidity. Took no time for the temp in the house to reach 92 degrees. Now it’s in the low 80s and still going down. Almost forgot what being cool felt like. Yippee……. 🎵🎹🌈

I read back a few days and saw that you were celebrating Heidi’s Birthday and got a note.
That is so kind of her and jewelry is so fun to celebrate with on Birthdays so Heidi is in the right spot.
The heat in FL for Oodie sounds exhausting. Hope that she gets some cool air soon or checks into a hotel for a few days of relief and fun.

We took off for a few days to the Central Coast. The car ride home was long and hot. Temps at one point showed 100 degrees. Looking forward to cooler weather soon.
We did a little bit of biking and I walked a trail a few times when hubs was resting. He caught a cold and I think I might have caught it today.
Hubs needed to get a break and tomorrow he’s back to handling things.

I am very concerned about you and @shoelady60.

Oodie somewhere around midnight OZ had some strong thunderstorms and it was
loud! I am glad I fed the animals early. 😎🎈We are still raining and my plants are
lush and beautiful. 💕I try to do my best in whatever I do. 😎

Let me know how you are doing today if you can and I just keep hoping your A/C is alright.

I am with hubs who is sound asleep.. The rehab is cool. Their A/C is working. I will be here for another hour and then will venture back to the house. The A/C is still a huge problem. A new duct was installed and it is still not functioning correctly. When I awoke this morning the thermostat showed 81 degrees. When I left to see hubs it was 92. The tech will return sometime tomorrow am. He wants to try one more thing before he gives up. He also mentioned that I should not under any circumstance to shut the system down. Well I had no choice last night when I heard some banging which shook a couple of our rooms. When after 15 minutes this had not ended I turned everything back on at the panel. I am now wondering if the city is doing work nearby causing this occurrence. It could also be the reason that the A/C is not in working order. Why I mention this is because we lost WiFi and cable for most of the day on Monday. Again, no notice to Spectrum or to anyone in our community. we were told it was a power outage. Thank goodness for the updates from Spectrum.

I am wondering if everything kid ok with shoelady’s mom and sister. Or could. It be a computer
glitch due to the heat and humidity. She did mention that she would be away from the computer. Hope she and her family are OK. I am just as concerned as you are.

I hope and pray your A/C is cooler. There is no way you can have 92 degrees coming out
that is hotter than my heat in the winter. Still I would put a fan near me and leave it on.
I hope the Tech comes early.

I know we are all concerned about @shoelady60 at least she reached out and said she
would off for a few days Lady has never been gone this long. Oodie she makes me laugh
and loves sports. 😎💕Lady also loves music and we seem to like the same ole school
performers I am talking Rock and Roll. 💕😎🎈

I think all of us love our fair share of music and you are very fond of Broadway and so am I.
Taci is into Rock and Herb Alpert now Herb is older than my mom and we always had his
albums in the house I had a crush on him for a long time. I love that trumpet! 😎 I am into
all genres of music there is nothing like good music. 😎🎈💕

This image is to take your mind off the heat. Oz is alright that hard rain did the job in a few
