We got lucky yesterday. Wind kicked up around 5:00 and it rained a little and that was about it. I did fall asleep around 8:30 and it rained again but nothing hard that woke me up. This is one of my husband’s biggest pet peeves when the local weather people make it sound like we’re all going to die from wind, rain, hail, flooding and we get barely anything.⛈️🌪️ He calls it the supermarket forecast so everyone can run and get bread, water and toilet paper in case we are stranded. I’ve lived here all my life and I think we may have been stranded one day because of snow.
