This is my 2nd attempt. The first one went poofed. I normally do not talk about the food here, but in this case I cannot stop. Our Amish Farmer’s Market makes homemade food without preservatives for takeout. Sandwiches, grinders both hot and cold, salads, soups, baked chicken, fried chicken, spareribs, chicken wings, pizza and of course fresh bakery products. They make cakes and pies for one and I swear the frosting tastes like my mom’s. They also make their own chicken salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, etc.. Most of their fish items are flown in fresh. I love their stuffed flounder with lobster stuffing. Also their Tempura shrimp. Both I usually freeze and use for breakfast. Their fruit and veggies last a long time in our frig. And just like the warehouses, they have free samples. Their family is always walking around the market to say hello, offer recipes and cooking advice, etc.. They will be opening a new market in the fall that will be near the rehab facility (hope hubs is home before then). We love this market and to think the one we loved up North was really wonderful and sadly missed until we found this one. It’s the first market we have ever been to that apologizes for the high prices and explains the reason. When the prices go down, they follow suit. They make grocery shopping fun. And just like the warehouses, they have free samples. So nice to try things out prior to purchase. This is how I found out how to eat and serve Dragon fruit. You never know what new item you will see and try when you walk into their market. It’s a pleasant experience.

The storm is on the way not as bad as last night hey we evening made
the National News. 😎I think it was not fun to not have power for over 10,000
homes. I have been there and it is not fun.

The gifs of the flowers outside and the interior look is just what I need. However, will need a new home. The bedroom is so welcoming. I could just picture myself reading and relaxing. Comfy cozy.

I didn’t see hubs today nor did I venture out. I had a bad sulfite attack from a pineapple jar that had onions, peppers and pineapple. It was hot and spicy and oh how I loved it. I surmise it was loaded with preservatives, but, I will try it again, but next time a half of a teaspoon. Your hubby would really enjoy this.

Our temps are a tad cooler today. Temp is in the low 70s, no wind. Tonight we will be in the low 50s and that is fine. No rain in sight for the next ten days.

Oh forgot to mention that we have a two day sale at the Farmer’s Market. Large scallops in a pakage for 12.99. It’s a bit high compar4ed to New England, but I think part of the cost is the flight to Florida. Their lobster roll was sweet as butter and delicious. I would love another, but the sale is over until either Memorial weekend or the 4th of July.

Warm and overcast day here, chance of scattered rain. I hope all is safe at your house after your big storm.⛈️ I don’t think we ever get a steady shower anymore. Everything is wind, thunder, lightning and tornado warnings.

Doing this and that around the house….always something. Maybe I’ll sit on the deck and read for a little while with a big glass of Coke.

Good day in your corner of the world. OZ had a huge thunderstorm and will have them
again tonight. There were power outages and trees down everywhere.

I am being careful outside because I don’t want to step on anything if you know what
