Conversation 27
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 27 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Hi to you this afternoon. Dreary with a light rain but still warm. Cold coming tomorrow night with snow showers Thursday and Friday.❄
My friend’s husband has good and bad days, same cancer as your family member. It’s been a year now and not much left they can do. Saying prayers every day and I will include your family.🙏🙏
Hubs will be at the game tonight with his buddy. I’ve pretty much given up on going because they haven’t looked good for a few years. Plus there is a lot of walking up and down steps since the seats are 12 rows off the ice so not good on the knees.🦵 But he still likes watching a live game. I will enjoy my relaxing time on the couch with a beverage.
Stay warm, hope you don’t get a lot of snow. Hugs to you and beautiful Poppy.🤗💖

Getting ready for a shower, however, I had two flats within a week. The first one was beyond
repair and the second one was taken care of.When I was single we had a few poodles. Not all at once. The first one was Petey and he was so cute. Almond colored. My mom took him to a person for his first haircut. He was killed while in the groomers hands. The second was Dory. Named after the novel and picture, “Dorian Gray.”. He was on the timid side. Gray in color. We had him for 15 years. The last one was Corky. A black poodle. He received his name because he always jumped like a cork in a bottle. He was the most fun. Loved playing hide and seek with him. Didn’t take him long to find my hiding places. All poodles were toys and it was one species that I was not allergic to.
I love Vermont and the Catskills. Most beautiful country. I remember driving with hubby to a family function in Vermont. It was just after a snowfall. We thought we were in the clouds because the electrical wires were sitting atop of the snow as we headed to our destination. I also enjoyed stopping at various out of the way places to pick up odds and ends. However, one place always stood out and that was the Vermont Country Store. They are still in business and not a tourist trap. They have quite a few things that were sold in the 1800s that I still get a kick out of. One was their nightshirts. Of course they are also known for their maple syrup. They are online and some of their products are still the same price as years ago.
Maine is another area we both love. We enjoyed taking Route 1 through the ocean area. I remember on our last visit I had a yen for lobster. Each restaurant we past had a sign with a price. In those days Lobster was from Maine. Today I am not that sure since the Atlantic has warmed up quite a bit. My understanding is that many migrated to Canada. We did an overnight in Maine the week of September 11th. We were on our way to Nova Scotia and a Catamaran ride to Yarmouth. We were with another couple, in separate vehicles, though we stayed at the same hotel. The Catamaran people parked our cars below deck while we enjoyed the ride above. Our friends followed the scenic route while we did the other way which was faster. Wow, what I can say about Canada. Nova Scotia is gorgeous and though it was the middle of September, it was cold and clammy. The people were friendly and welcomed us with open arms. It was only five days following the horrific unthinkable day of September 11th. Our favorite places to eat was on the Wharf. The smell of the sea and the fresh fish reminded both of us of our first home on a tiny island in NY.. I love Canada and wouldn’t mind returning one day in the not so distant future. It was great walking up and down their streets. Many hills, but people reached out to us and made our sightseeing by foot something to remember many years later.
It is so beautiful and so scenic no matter where in Canada you go. -
Good morning in California and I hope this day finds you doing well. 😎🎈💕

Here is to a nice Tuesday. I did read your post from last night and the Amber
Trail sounds amazing. I am a museum girl I would love to visit and see all the sights. What stories you have to tell around the dinner table. 💕🎈
Daughter was in upstate New York helping a friend out it’s a long story.
I am so glad she was there for her. The girls drove from Vermont to the Catskills
and spread her mother’s ashes t Kaaterskill Falls. The pictures she sent me were so
beautiful and peaceful. 💕Glad you order the Colleen Jewelry Box I hope you really like it. 💕
Well snow tomorrow at least that is what they are saying we shall see.
Does this look familiar? Taci you had the trip of a lifetime. 😎😘
Happy Trails To You. 🎶🎶

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast of Florida. 🎈I hope you get your much needed rain.
Oz is predicted to have snow. So let it blow. LOL!So sorry about the tire problems glad it is resolved that is what I like one and done.
I am not too happy about your husband sitting on the side of the bed. My dad did that
and he had a couple of bad falls. I am glad you caught him in time. I know what you are
dealing with we kept all eyes on dad we he was in the hospital.Speaking of rain I had to go out yesterday and I could barely see I mean it was massive
rain. I have to say my plants look as if I did them in May. 💕😎Your meal sounds good I hope you and hubby enjoyed it. 💕
I found your cat and dog comment funny because if it is extreme cold and ice their little
feet need to be protected. Ah no Poppy do not like it but at least he tiny feet will not freeze.
At least when Poppy goes to backyard I just let him run free he knows his little spot. LOL!
I do have a treadmill in the family room so if the snow is real bad I will get on my treadmill. One of our daughters at an interesting weekend she was in Vermont visiting a friend.
This friend lost her dear mother in May she was only in her 60’s past suddenly. My daughter
and her friend drove to upstate New York. They had her mother’s ashes and part of it
was left in Kaaterskill Falls in the Catskills of Greene County. The pictures were just beautiful.
The friend is from that area. I have a lot going on but I take it one day at a time.Oodie be safe out there and thank goodness you have a new tire.
