Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.

NATIONAL PASTRY DAY
National Pastry Day celebrates one of the world’s most favored baked goods. On December 9th, visit your local bakery and pick up one or two of your favorite kinds.
The pastry is a name given to a large variety of baked goods which are made with ingredients such as flour, sugar, milk, butter, shortening, baking powder, and eggs. Pastry dough is rolled out thinly and then used as a base for different baked products. A few of the more common bakery items include pies, tarts, quiches, and pasties. Bakers create both savory and sweet dishes from the doughs they create. Additionally, they continue to develop new and delicious creations all the time!

Sheba, Well, I think I am done honing down my belongings. Cleaned my closet, and also some places in the house today. Went to the gym in the afternoon for an easy walk on the treadmill. Just a nice low key day. My son is busy working but hopefully he has some snowboarding in mind in the upcoming months.

Just saw your note. I tried to see hubby, but by the time I was dressed and ready to go, felt weak. Thus I stayed home. I am eating very light and need to do some serious shopping in the next few days. Again, not pushing. Our microwave died last weekend and the replacement should be here sometime this week or next. I was able to purchase the exact same one.
I used to love the snow. In my mind I still do. When hubby is able to travel the 1350 miles to the North I will be watching the weather, especially from North Carolina and Northward. I try not to take the I-95 corridor because of DC and a few other areas. Our route is more scenic through mountains. It adds some mileage, but all so worth it. It actually makes the ride feel shorter. Bad news is that we cannot use this area during the winter months. The roads have a steep uphill and going down in bad weather is not conducive. But, for now, we are a long way off from making that decision.
Hope all is well with you. You and Sheba are helping me get into the walking phase. I need to exercise and this will help strengthen the legs. Not so sure about the back, but will see. Not to worry. I won’t be doing the three mile walk when I start. LOL.
