thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.

Good afternoon to you. Yes, I am definitely celebrating National Relaxation Day.👍 After running to the grocery store this morning, I have done a lot of nothing.
My neighbor gave me some tomatoes from his garden yesterday🍅so I am making a caprese salad to have with my chicken for dinner. They are sooo good.
Happy to hear you are back to normal – your husband’s days of peace are over!!😂 Our pollen counts are still high and it is warmer so may just read indoors.
Take it easy in the heat, we have scattered rain the next couple days.🌧 Lots of love and hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Good morning in S. California yes I do have my voice back as of today. Hubby said I sound
normal. LOL! 😎🎈Taci on super warm days like we are having all ever you have to do what you have to do.
I am setting up an appt. to get my teeth cleaned. I think I am all cleared up and can
handle to cleaning. 😎Try not to work out too hard I combine my long walks to get the blood pumping and I do
other things to make sure everything stays firm. 💕😘Enjoy the trails if you are out and about. 😎

Sheba, props to you for staying on top of all the medical and dental. I need to schedule a cleaning and am feeling guilty. Wanted to pass my 1 year follow-up Mam 1st. I did. phew. Tempted to get some Dental on one leg of my trip since it cost much much less but I’m scared of the unknown. I’ve met more than a few people who go to Mexico for the Dental and speak very highly of the experience, as the Dentist are USA trained. One Dentist has a car pick the patients up at the border and return them.

I saw your post. I skipped writing for a few days because of a knee problem. For some reason my knee is swollen and the pain is unbearable. Not sure what is causing this, but found staying off the foot entirely was a big help. No, I didn’t trip or fall. That is why this is so confusing. The only thing I can think of is that I have a cold in the knee from the A/C vent which is near the bathroom sink. So now I turn the A/C off when I’m in that location. Thanks for missing my posts.

Good afternoon on the Coast of Florida. Oodie I did read your post from last night.
Oz is very warm and humid today so Poppy and I went early for our walk. This gets
the blood pumping so I can do other things. 🎈😎We are in the dog days of summer so warm sweat pours from every pore on the body.
I will be taking a couple of showers today.I hope your husband’s room mate will be alright. Prayers for a recovery. I am glad he has
a wife who visits. I have not been on earth 67 years and that is a long time for a marriage
I think it is beautiful. 💕I hope your favorite Aide comes back to work soon. Let me know how things go today.

Oodie, Sorry about your knee pains. I think the humidity is hard on the body. Glad your hubs roommate made it to the hospital. My hubs loves ice cream too.

It is hot hot hot. Adding temp and humidity it is about 105 out there. I am getting ready to visit the Farmer’s Market to pick up something for dinner. Hubby does not like eating when I’m not. That was last night. I thought my dinner would be too tempting when all he is given is puree food. I have to admit that he is coughing less and less. I have a feeling that hubby’s roommate may have passed before being escorted to the hospital. What he described to me was the beginning of a bad heart attack. All the RN did was check the oxygen he was using, vitals, and then left the room. I did see her on a phone call that may have gone to the physician. Anyway, he kept calling for the RN because he could not breathe and I left to go and find her. Hubby wanted me to leave well enough alone, but it takes forever for anyone to answer a buzz. His roommate has a number of things wrong. I have no idea what the cause is. The nursing and aid staff are very closed lip. They took him and the entire bedding on the stretcher. That’s why I think he may have past. His spouse uses a walker and does not drive. Someone has to take her to and from the rehab. I am happy that they were together over the weekend to celebrate their 67th Anniversary. I will know more when I am at Rehab.
I will be bringing bottled water to hubby today. Just read where testing was done on the drinking water and it showed there is Covid. I think I mentioned that because of the rain we had last week that the sewage area opened up and went into our water supply. Nothing indicated to boil water or refrain using. It’s another reason to head North when possible. Not sure if we will return to Florida or look for another area. Right now I am glad we have a place we can drive to. Albeit 1350 miles one way.

I did ask one of the RNs today how the roommate was doing. As far as they can tell he made it to the hospital. Have no idea what is wrong or if he will be returning to the Rehab. I’m glad that he is in better hands and hopefully, he will either return or find another place to put him on the road to recovery. Hubby was OK. He had just received his dinner and was enjoying ever y morsel. He had a “hoodsey cup” that he ate first. This guy really loves his ice cream and I thought it was me who enjoyed it more (LOL). Have a great evening. We are supposed to have lower humidity tomorrow. Hope it’s true…….
