Conversation – 21
Good Day Peeps in our Wonderful Community this is Thread number 21 of the Conversation Series. 😎😉
I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Thank you for your prayers. This December has been the best ever. I was with my entire
family I got a clean bill of health on my health issue. I traveled through many States and I
got back out in the world. 😎🎈This relative was sick for a while before the stroke and she is older. WE see this as a home going
she has been all over the world more than I can count and had a full rich life. What I like about
her is she was skiing a few years ago and has always been mobile and full of life. 💕All her
children will be there she has four all live in Boulder, Colorado. The only thing that bothers me is her husband will be heart broken and thank god she has
a large family. 😘💕She is in Hospice right now so she is still with us and we will cherish her forever in our hearts. 💕😘

Sheba, sincere condolences about your relatives who had the stroke. I’m sorry this is such a difficult month for you with losses from last year and your Father. Take care and best to you and yours.

I feel for you and your family at this time. December is a hard month for many. I surmise it’s all the hustling and bustling in food prep, presents for family members and also the year end crisis’s. It’s never a good time to become ill and during the last few years I have noticed that this month which is supposed to be happy it is also the saddest one. Prayers and hugs are being sent to you and your loved ones. I was hoping that this month would have been a good one.

Good evening and yeah this is late for me. I have been on the phone with family in
Colorado and Minnesota as we have a relative who had a major stroke and took a turn
for the worse. Family are making plans to fly to Minnesota on Wednesday this all happened
this evening.I know your hair looks great all that hiking does the body good. 😎
Taci the only woods would be my backyard which is very large. I do live near a wooded
area but this one black cat will not leave me or the block I know where he lives and he
knows I have the food. I will call an animal origination here in town and find out what they
can do to help me make a shelter so if a cat or two comes they will not get too cold. The cats will not come to me but I can see them through my security camera.
I have learned all their habits and it is so interesting to look at especially at night
that is when they come out. 💕 -
Good evening and I hope you have sweet dreams. Oodie i am late posting tonight because

I am very happy that your husband is doing so much better now just to get him home would
be great.I will say just a little bit more tomorrow. I have been on the phone for hours as this just happened.

Again, thank you for reaching out. What I think happened is that I heated up some corn chowder from the Farmer’s Market. Instead of eating it slowly, hubby was gulping it down. His esophagus is extremely narrow and he sometimes forgets to take it easy. He needs to take smaller bites and to chew better. If he doesn’t, he ends up having a coughing fit and that is what happened on Saturday. The surgeon must have sewn areas together and the stitches were still intact and had not dissolved as yet. I think his coughing may have dislodged whatever. Anyway, he is back at the rehab and is OK (knock on wood”), I arrived home just about an hour ago.
I know you will be missing your mom this holiday. But, wish you a happy and healthy one all the same to you and your family. Remember the good times and the laughs along with the wishes and the sentiments.

Sheba, Hope it was a great day for you as well. I got my hair colored and you know – hiked.
Came home to a delivery truck blocking a part of my driveway, which is fine but I couldn’t get into the driveway. Stopped the car, and went to the open door and tried to get the drivers attention. Sheba, he was in there organizing, stacking boxes at lightning speed and working so hard, non-stop. He finally heard me saying excuse me…. and was so polite. I was so impressed.
People around here order so much online.Do the cats live in the woods? Maybe you could try leaving some cardboard boxes out with an old towel or 2 in them, and some dry food to encourage them? It’s a dilemma for sure.

Oodie, Sorry about your husband being rushed to the er. Sounds like they were being cautious post surgery. Glad he is back at the rehab and ready for some dinner. Do places deliver food? My son uses grub hub and they offer deals and coupons. Keep us all updated about your husband.
The Colleen Lopez boxes are wonderful. I need the smaller size which is why I am holding off for now. Once those are back, I am snagging a set. Otherwise, the bigger ones will work too.
And maybe soon I will decide to get the black set. Yes, a bit indecisive.
Wishing you and your husband a Happy Hanukkah. -
I tried several times to reach the ER to no avail. The first try the switchboard gave me the incorrect area. Second try, a nurse put me on hold and all of a sudden I had the dial tone. The last resort was that the phone kept ringing and no one answered. So, instead of trying a fourth time I climbed into the van and drove to the hospital. I parked in the ER area and walked the upward climb for three blocks only to find out when I arrived that (and I quote) “He went back to where he came from.” So, I walked the three blocks (all downhill this time) and drove to the rehab. And there he was. Back in his room sound asleep. Of course I woke him and he is fine. The ER never removed the contraptions on his arm, so the rehab RN took care of that. He wants takeout. Only problem he has a yen for a Reuben and unfortunately, as I perused the menu for Culver’s, it has too much salt. (1400+mg of salt). Dinner menu at the Rehab is a chicken something or other which he doesn’t want. I will go to the rehab and see what he wishes. Right now, just so happy that he is OK.
