Conversation – 20
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 20 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

I was so happy to see your post. I know this fall has set you back some, but just take one day at a time and don’t push yourself. Things will fall into place as you start feeling better. The weather isn’t much help, but, heard next week we will have 70s during the day and the nighttime will be in the 60s. Hopefully, that will lessen some of the pain you have been experiencing. I am glad that your hubby can work from home and keep an eye on you. By the way, you should keep a record of meds, doctor visits, and everything that has occurred since your fall. This includes all x-rays as well. By the way, has the market reached out to you since your fall????
Take care. Don’t overdo anything.

I am OK. Just had tons on my mind and needed to do some sorting. I finally made it to Lowes and bought a LG Microwave. Delivery is expected around the 21st which may need to be changed. Bought also a new showerhead and doorbell. Maybe now I will hear that instead of a knock on the window. Also installed a new flagpole and flag. Did the Amazon sale. Have to admit that the July sale was better. This is probably their kickoff to Black Friday and Cyber Week.
Hubby is doing well. He is now trying to get into bed from the wheelchair. His legs do need to become stronger and there is therapy for that. His short term memory seems to be returning. He now remembers more and more of his daily life at the rehab and wants home so badly he can taste it. I am hoping I will be able to contact the electrician and plumber within a week or two the most. I had to cancel the techs for tomorrow due to a tropical depression in the Gulf. Some much needed rain is expected for the next couple of days. We had some this evening and there was some flooding on my way home. I actually did not see it until it happened. There is a mile or more of no above lights on a main street which I use daily for the rehab. The ground here is so dry that water has no place to go. Hopefully, we will get the inches we sorely do need.
Hubby’s room was changed. All the furniture in that room was moved out to the hallway over the weekend. This included the window treatments and the curtains for privacy. The only furniture that could not be moved were the dresser and closet because they were built-ins. He has a new roommate. This one is nice, but like me, cannot hear that well. But, at least we all can hear the TV and not have to listen through the remote.
Yesterday I went to Culver’s and brought hubby Chili and a Reuben. Loved everything and though he ate dinner, there was room for more. Today, after Lowes, went to the Farmer’s Market. Brought hubby clam chowder and for me also. One of the best chowders I have ever tasted. Sorry, Cape Cod, this one was better. Also purchased an Italian grinder. and lobster salad for me. I never got to the lobster salad. Too full from the soup. Hubby ate a quarter of the grinder. Tomorrow we will have leftovers. No shopping. Will be working on the house tomorrow and will again start decluttering. Actually, there are quite a few things in boxes from last year’s hurricanes. Most of those boxes are in the MB. Once the kitchen and dining room are done, will go to the MB and put it together, FINALLY. On route to that area will do the hallway closets. Oh, forgot to mention. While at Lowes, saw a vanity for the guest bathroom. I will return to take a second look and get the measurements. Also will need to add a cabinet for added storage.
Take care. Stay warm. We had a few days with temps in the low 80s and at night in the 70s. We will most likely be in the mid 80s to low 90s through the weekend or until the storm passes. Nice weather is predicted for next week. 70s during the day. Mid 60s at night. Not sure how long that will last, but will be grateful nevertheless.

Good evening to you. Your pics today are so lovely!😊 Waiting to hear from mom, mom Friday may turn into mom Thursday this week. Either way I will be there.
Hockey team started the season just like they ended last season.😣 Only saw the last half of the game because one of my cable boxes broke and I was on a chat for an hour trying to fix it. Finally said “you know what” and had a technician come today. All fixed.
After all we’ve been seeing on the news, you are right, still goodness out there. In fact, I had to go to the hospital today for a test and the woman behind me in the cafeteria bought my coffee.☕ I will definitely pay it forward.
Sending hugs to you and my step-child.🤗💖

@Sheba 🍁🍁🍁🍂🍂🍂🍂
Hello Sheba, I hope this finds you well and having pleasant walks with Poppy.
It’s a sad situation our planet is in. How we have not yet learned to live together in one planet in 2023 is incomprehensible.I am still recovering from that horrible fall. It’s a very slow process. It certainly has done damage to my body.
I hope you get to visit your mother soon. And enjoy your time together ❤️.
Take care Sheba 🌹

The Journey of Release
When we learn to let go, more energy flows and less effort is needed.
When we become overwhelmed and things are not going as planned, it is natural to hold tighter to our goals and try to force things to go our way. In the process, we tie ourselves in knots, tensing our shoulders, jaws, and muscles throughout our bodies. Our mind tells us that this is how to get a firmer grip on a situation that feels out of control, but as we create knots in our bodies we are blocking the flow of our energy, exhausting ourselves by exerting more effort yet accomplishing less. At these times, though it may seem counterintuitive, our higher selves know it’s better to let go.
This may not be quite as easy as it sounds. After the relief of our first decision to release, if we allow questions about how to get everything done to start again, the knots will be back before we know it. So we need to be aware that this is a process to breathe through. First, we need to let go of our idea of what the perfect outcome should be, and allow that the intelligence that drives the universe knows better than we do how everything fits together for the highest good. Then we might have to release our imagined consequences and realize that, in most cases, the worst that could happen really isn’t that bad. We may need to remember how to relax, first by taking deep breaths, then by meditating, and then perhaps seeking help from a loved one, massage therapist, or energy healer to clear the underlying knots.
We can ease our mental stress by prioritizing what we truly want to accomplish, and then delegating the rest to someone who has more enthusiasm for those things. When we relax and let life’s energy flow through our minds, bodies, spirits, and lives, we will find that we can accomplish more with less effort and feel good doing it. We don’t have to tie ourselves in knots. Instead, we can let the ribbons of our energy unfurl to gracefully direct us through life’s abundant flow. AMEN! 🎈
