I forgot to mention that it is very warm and quite humid. Summer has returned and not in it’s glory. Tonight, while visiting hubby, I happened to look outside at the sky. It was very ominous. So much so, it was scary. The hues were a dark purple and there was a round something or other like a sphere that looked like fire. It was a bright orange/red . I have never seen anything like it and I hope to never see the likes of it again.

Thanks for the compliment. It’s not knowing what to say, it’s actually living through it. While in Ct., I fell quite a few times. I am not a stair person. I either fall going up or going down. We have a raised ranch in Ct., and I was cleaning the stairs going down from our top floor. I slipped and fell backwards hitting my head against the front door. Luckily, I didn’t break anything. Just the back of my head gave me some pain. Another time I was in the shower and found myself falling against t he glass door and landed on top of a metal something. I nearly passed out from the pain. Hubby was there to help, but found I could not get up right away. It took quite a while for me to get the strength to stand up and make it to the bed. This one caused black and blue marks all over. It was weeks before I was able to venture anywhere. Luckily, again nothing broken. But my ankle swelled and needed an ace bandage. However, when you are young and physically fit, then the road back to health takes no time. However, as we age, some of us only take short walks, watch exercises on TV and try to copy, etc, etc, It is only recently that I started to so some things to limber up. This has helped my back, but gee whiz, why does it still hurt before a storm?????

Yesterday I made a phone call to our tech people with the A/C. We were due to have a heavy rain storm and I was tr ying to ward them off. I actually have another date for the end of this month. Between 5 am and 6 am the phone woke me up. It wss just one ring and I surmise not enough info for receiving the info of whom was calling. Around 8:15/8:30 am another phone call which arose me from a deep sleep. Scared the living whatever out of me. Anyway, got to the phone but not in time to answer. It was my neighbor to inform me that the duct person was here. Yikes!!!! I was in pjs with no time to dress. Turns out he came just to check and then showed me the pictures he took of the water under the house. Said I have a leak and here’s proof. There is no leak. Our driveway at the area he mentioned was installed incorrectly. Seems we have a dip that water puddles into and backs up to our home and goes underneath. It would be a huge undertaking if we decide to redo. It not only means that area but the entire thing. A few years ago we had a contractor look at this. While we were up North, he and his wife spent a few hours during a rain storm watching. It was like a cup in the middle of our driveway that took on water and backed it up to the house. They actually were dumbfounded. Back then the cost of repairs was just not in the cards. Probably more expensive now. I was not a happy camper this morning and consequently did not do anything except sleep. Tomorrow a hair appointment. It will feel good for a change to have some ME time.

I do hope you feel better and this is just a case of an allergy. Pomegranates come in handy as does blueberries and of course Dragon Fruit. All of these are great for the Immune System. Also chicken soup with tons of veggies. I enjoy soup all year long. I can always find an excuse to make it. It just feels good anytime.
