Hello Sheba, I am glad you had sunshine today and that you were able to take your walk.
I did cover the plants, and they seem to be alright today. I also put on a glove and grabbed a little frog that was sleeping on top of the door bell camera and placed it in the covered plant to keep it warm.
The day remained windy and the temperature stayed in the 60’s. But they will climb back up in no time. 😄
I do listen to La Isla Bonita by Madonna, I prefer her ballads, Take a Bow my favorite. Still others more up beat and dancing songs didn’t stop me and hubby from dancing to them on Fridays and Saturdays in the clubs.
I did make a huge pot of soup, it’s easy when I have broth already made in the freezer and chicken already cooked and pulled apart in the freezer. All I had to do was cut the vegetables. I also placed some of it in containers and into the freezer. When I don’t want to cook, I just toast some bread and defrost a serving of soup. ☺

Yes hiked 4 and a half mile trail with the big climb. I go the long way. Some people take a more direct way but it’s way too steep for me. I watched someone go a route today past the “keep out” fence; way too steep for me. I hike for enjoyment not fear but i don’t like heights. Maybe it doesn’t bother others.

It’s not only about what is happening with a war but also what occurs in your own backyard. Everything is so sad and the news sometimes gets to me as well. I have found reading on line a bit better. Besides there are also videos of animals doing the craziest of things that lifts my spirit. It’s great for a laugh when everything around us is in turmoil.

Some good news. I found a similar orthopedic group similar to what we have in Florida, off Cape. It’s a good 25-30 miles one way, but doable. If we decide to go that route, will check with the office here to make the necessary arrangements. Best part, parking and the only traffic will be the bumper to bumper in either direction during the start and end of a work day. The other thing we will have to consider is the bridge traffic for getting on and off the Cape. This is another reason why we bus it to Boston. Tomorrow I will check on the physical therapy and reviews. But, at least, if nothing else, an alternative.

It was very cold here this morning. The temperature was 40 according to Alexa, though I venture to say it felt like the 20s. Tomorrow will be in the 80s. Hard to believe when today the temp never got out of the 60s. I arose the first time about 9am which was equivalent to my normal wake up at 8am. The brightness of the sun awakes me early. But then today, I returned to bed and slept to 2 pm. Nothing accomplished today except for our meals/eats.

Be careful on your morning walks with Poppy. If there was any melting from the snow it could be a bit icy in spots. Walk with care. Stay safe.
