Hello Sheba, did you have fun at Trivia? There were lots of players tonight.
I fell asleep on the sofa, I think it was between nine and nine thirty. I closed my eyes and it was lights out. We had a very busy day, and it certainly tired me out. Doctors appointment, errands, shopping. It all wore me out, and hubby also. 😄

Today was one of the better days. I still had a couple of issues with the cough, but it more or less stayed away for most of the day. It felt good not to be taking the sinus meds every hour or so. The middle of next week will tell if this will continue.

We did do a little shopping this afternoon at Aldi’s and then stopped to pick up a couple of prescripts. I let hubby drive. It felt so good to be a passenger again. No, we didn’t get a phone call for the stress test. This time the blame is on me or rather our landline. I contacted Spectrum and it took a few days to locate the cause. Yes, it is on our end and the culprit is the wiring which is fraying at the entrance. Checking outside, the wires are also damp from the rain and the wind. It could come back on it’s own, but will make another call to Spectrum. We also lost Wifi for a few hours. But that is OK now. Funny, the cable never lost a thing. TV was good.

Tonight Trivia was fun. I hope everyone felt the same way. Nice surprise to see TACI. I hope she will pop in more often and start playing the game.

Oh, I saw my very first huge bug here last night. When I say large, that’s exactly what I saw. I think they’re called Mealie (sp_ bugs. I went to find my shoes and by the time I returned to the spot last seen, it was totally gone. Happened to go into the bathroom and saw some movement behind the shower brushes. Moved them and there it was. I squirted him with “Kaboom” and it worked. Go figure. Worked better than our other bug killers. Funny, the night prior I saw something flying in the MB. Guess it was this bug.

Tomorrow is definitely a workday here. We have the A/C people due for our seasonal checkup and cleaning and also the bug people. I must admit that the house is really starting to take shape. This weekend will be furniture moving so we can sweep, use the dry mop and then wash the floors. Not to forget, we have donations to load into the car. This will really free up the space in our living room/great room.

What a nice surprise seeing you in Trivia. I hope we will see more of you. Each question when answered correctly gives you 200 tickets.

It was 70 something today in Florida. We are experiencing a very nice cold front which, I hope, will keep my sinus infection at bay. However, like you, we will see the 90s by mid week. I just read on line that the prognosis for the spring and summer will be hot, hot, hot. No let up until sometime mid August or later. I think we will all be happy when the hot, dry and humid weather will behind us.

I remember many, many years ago when HSN was selling those mini sprinklers that you could carry with you on your shoulder or use one of the rungs on your outdoor umbrella to latch on to. I did purchase one and added water and ice to it. It felt good on one of those hot days. If you ever come across one, it will keep you cool on those hikes.

Sheba, hello and happy trivia nite! You weather sounds lovely compared to the 90’s here.
You would think I live in the desert. Well maybe we kinda do. Really irked by my procaps order pricing and now I will order from HSN. Sheessh is all and oh well.
