Hi and good afternoon. Thanks for the suggestion. However, our air conditioner uses the same filter over and over again. It is due for a good washing which we will take care of either today or tomorrow. The filter is permanent and is much easier than purchasing a few new ones. We are also due to have the A/C people here to give the system a good cleaning. As I do each room I remove the grates for the air and vacuum the hole and then wash with vinegar and warm water. I do the same for the grates. About a month ago we had new ductwork installed. You just gave me a great idea on the hoses and will take care of that this week.

We have not seen any rain here in months. With temp in the mid 80s or low 90s, it would certainly help our bushes and shrubs. We have a no watering in place so thinking about washing the car or watering the plants is out of the question. What I try to do is fill a watering can with water and give them a bit of a drink, especially the cacti in our lanai. I also use Lowe’s for all my shopping needs including plants.

I am hoping to head North to Brandon in the next few days or week. I really need a fix at the Oriental market. It’s called MD Market. If you ever get into Tampa, just go on I-75 S from Rte. 4. Get off at t he exit for Brandon and make a left turn. The market is in the same shopping center as Home Depot. Actually, they are right next door.

We are both doing OK. So far, knock on wood (OK will plastic do????) today is good. Had a bit of a cough, but a cold drink did stifle the itch. I am hoping to shop tomorrow.

Going back to my single days when we had a pooch. I used to walk our dog and late at night it was either my dad or mom. However, when it was extremely cold or inclement weather, we let the pooch out back and when he was done he returned home with tail wagging. I used to let him out through the screened porch and would wait by the window with doors closed. Seldom got sick this way. But, I wouldn’t blame Poppy. Your weather has had some extreme changes and that has something to do with catching whatever. Back off and make yourself some tea with lemon and Manuka honey. Chicken soup is good also. Another thing I used to do was use a vaporizer. Doing one of the three or all three made everything go elsewhere.

The temp in our home is now over 80. The A/C is off. Will turn it on again around 6 pm. When the temps are up we try to conserve whatever we can to keep the cost of electricity down. If we didn’t do this on the Gulf, our bill would be over $400/mo. When we shop we use the humidistat. It keeps us sane and saves electrical for someone else who may need it more.

Hubby wants to head North and see the physicians there. The traffic on the Interstate right now is bumper to bumper. I doubt if this is being cause by those heading North. There is alot of construction work being done. Not sure if I want to sit in bumper to bumper anytime soon. Since he has an appointment with a cardiologist in a few weeks, will let him call the shots. I’m beginning to feel that Boston may not be a bad idea. He would have both available in one hospital. And, the group we are using here are also in Boston with great reviews as well.

Hello Oodie, I hope your Sinus is better today. Happy International Women’s Day to you. I read your post from yesterday, may I suggest you this. Next time you go the Lowe’s, turn your air conditioning off . Take the air filter out and take it to Lowe’s and purchase new one. You must replace the filter every 30 days, it’s very important. We keep a few at home to change it, and we note the day its change. I don’t know what kind of system you have, we also pour warm water and vinegar into the water tube that goes from the system to the outside. The tube that dripped water to the outside, we make sure when it rains that outside tube does get clogged out there. I hope your husband is doing well. Last night we had a small shower, just enough for a small drink for the plants and grass. It’s been a while since it had a real good rain.

Hi to you in Oz. It is chilly today, maybe snow, ice, rain tomorrow morning, then nicer until Saturday. Relax and stay warm so you don’t feel any worse. I am making chili today because it is chilly!🥶 We had high winds yesterday that blew off our chimney cap so hubby is out looking for a new one. I did sip my favorite blue drink last night, thank you!🍸

Latest on BIL is he is negative for meningitis, infections and has PRES, google it because too complicated to explain. SIL said he is more alert today but still on seizure meds.😕

Hockey team doing pretty well, playing tonight and we are going Friday.🏒 Hang in there, my friend, hope you feel better.😤💗
