Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Just dropping in to see how you are fairing this rainy day in Oz. I am absolutely positive your dad heard you sing “Poppa Can You Hear Me.” Barbra is one of my favorites and I have been watching her since, Gary Moore???? Now I am really aging myself. Actually, I enjoyed the entire movie and we own both the CD and DVD.
Wish your dad a happy happy from me and Mr. Oodie. I am sure he has been reading these posts as you type and read them. So, we are not exactly strangers. I believe your dad knows everything. However, he is on a different plain where we cannot see or hear them, but for some reason we can feel when they are around us, be it a butterfly or a couple of doves.
Here’s something for the record books. I am beginning to hear sound out of my deaf, left ear. Today, is the first time in over two years that I can hear a low dial tone. Hope there will be more improvement. Right ear is almost there. I moved the sound down even more today on the TV. The clogged feeling is almost gone in both ears. Hubby has a tendency to whisper or talks up to the ceiling which means I hear nothing. Hope this new thing I’m doing will make it non existent as well. Only time will tell.

The Death and Rebirth of Self
Sometimes a part of us must die, before another part can come to life.
Sometimes a part of us must die before another part can come to life. Even though this is a natural and necessary part of our growth, it is often painful or, if we don’t realize what’s happening, confusing and disorienting. In fact, confusion and disorientation are often the messengers that tell us a shift is taking place within us. These shifts happen throughout the lives of all humans, as we move from infancy to childhood to adolescence and beyond. With each transition from one phase to another, we find ourselves saying goodbye to an old friend, the identity that we formed in order to move through that particular time.
Sometimes we form these identities in relationships or jobs, and when we shift those areas of our life become unsettled. Usually, if we take the time to look into the changing surface of things, we will find that a shift is taking place within us. For example, we may go through one whole chapter of our lives creating a protective shell around ourselves because we need it in order to heal from some early trauma. One day, though, we may find ourselves feeling confined and restless, wanting to move outside the shelter we needed for so long; the new part of ourselves cannot be born within the confines of the shell our old self needed to survive.
We may feel a strange mixture of exhilaration and sadness as we say goodbye to a part of ourselves that is dying and make way for a whole new identity to emerge in its place. We may find inspiration in working with the image of an animal who molts or sheds in order to make way for new skin, fur, or feathers to emerge. For example, keeping a duck feather, or some other symbol of transformation, can remind us that death and rebirth are simply nature’s way of evolving. We can surrender to this process, letting go of our past self with great love and gratitude, and welcoming the new with an open mind and heart, ready for our next phase of life. AMEN! ✨✨

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast. 😎✨ Sorry about the loud noise during your lunch.
I prefer a Piano too. ✨I am feeling better today Oodie thank you for the uplifting post.Today is recyclable, trash and lawn and leaf pick up. I made sure no twigs or lawn clippings
were in the yards I have been outside most of the day and forgot to wear my mask. I am
having a wee bit of sinus issues but I am alright. My Stepmother reached out to me and she
was saying there is a shortage on the shelves in Kansas. I do believe that is everywhere these
days. We remembered my dad yesterday I had one thin slice of Cheesecake and I had my
time in prayers with him. My favorite song for him is Papa Can You Hear Me. 💕💕Oodie I hope
he did. -
