Hi. Labs went OK and doctor appointment is the week of the 9th. I had the phone call last Friday on my hubby’s test results. I hope to hear from the orthopedist sometime this week. If not, I will call on Monday and leave a message. I have a feeling that they will want to see him first and then the surgery appointment will follow.

We did go out for lunch. It was a seafood place and we were not impressed with the loud music in the background. I do not mind this in a hall or on stage somewhere, but in a small environment it just did not seem right. Could not hear hubby and he could not hear me above the noise. Call me old fashioned if you like, but in a restaurant I would love to hear some soft music or someone at the piano. Just my thought. I kind of miss my favorite place here where you sit outside and watch some of the boaters come in. The food is pretty good at this place. It’s mainly fish but for the landlovers, they do make a good hamburger and steak on the grill. The people who cook are fishermen so you never know what they will bring in for the daily catch. Guess that’s why I like this place. Both of us were just too tired to drive there. Guess you need an explanation. I was up at 5 am going to the “library” and decided to get the paperwork and put it with my purse. Only thing was, it wasn’t where it was supposed to be. I guess the lights awaken hubby and thus we both looked for the one sheet of paper. After looking through the many boxes of papers I finally decided to leave a little early with the stop at the doctor’s office. Finally, as a last resort decided to look under some stuff on our desk and that’s where I found it. Breathing a sigh of relief went back to bed around 6 am and was up at 9:30 am for a leisurely shower. I fasted for 14 hours.

I can sympathize knowing what you are experiencing. Taci also. My dad was like my right hand. Always there for me especially when mom and I would fight like cats and dogs. I sometimes thought that he stayed longer at the store just to have some peace and quiet. However, when he did arrive home there was ice cream sodas or milkshakes or a hot fudge sundae. The hot fudge was what I liked the most. So creamy and warm. And the taste even better. Enjoyed it until college beckoned and I fell in love with Brighams. Nothing stays the same forever. Brighams is no more and now Hoods carries their line. I so remember the good times and yes, it still brings a tear or two because we all wish that things could stay the same. No matter what, one thing will never change. You will always be Daddy’s Little Girl. And how nice it is that he drops in from time to time letting you know that the feelings are mutual. I know time heals all wounds. IN our case it seems it will. But, it doesn’t. It’s just that as the years go by we learn to handle it better. Maybe singing something tomorrow will help you get through the day. Bet your dad would love nothing better for his birthday.

Yesterday I became very emotional looking at a photo of my mother. It was taken in the Bahamas. I took her on a cruise just me and her. She is in the ocean enjoying herself with the biggest smile, and that’s when the picture was taken. I started missing her a bunch lately. We all understand it is part of life, but it doesn’t make it easier. 😥
I decided I needed more bed sheets, I ordered some from HSN . Now that Summer is coming we need to change our bed here, more often. And we like a lighter sheets in the summer rather than a thick heavy sheets in the Winter. At least that’s the excuse I gave my husband. Reality is, I just liked the sheets. 😂

On a larger scale, you may decide that travel and education are your family priorities, and design your lifestyle to suit that philosophy by traveling extensively or living abroad. On the other hand, you may decide that putting down solid roots and building community means the most to you and your children, choosing to spend most of your energy and resources in one chosen spot.

The act of determining what you value most and how you will pass that on to your children is both empowering and creative. As your family grows and your children have ideas of their own, you can incorporate them into the process. In this way, you fulfill the additional purpose of teaching your children how to envision and create their own reality. Most of all, they will learn that life is rich with potential and that expressing their deepest values empowers them to create a life that will be of benefit to the whole world. ✨✨ AMEN!

Good afternoon in Sunny Florida. 😘✨Today is my beloved father’s birthday. My dad
is in Heaven and I am really thinking about him. Very painful as it has not been two years
yet.✨

My flowers are alright after that frost freeze the sun is out and the temp just hit 70 degrees
which is a heat wave in OZ. 😎More rains tomorrow and I am ok with that.
