Conversation – 17

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Oodie, thanks for the game night note. Sorry I didn’t make it. Friday was the day I went to meet an old colleague who was over an hour away. The cruise ship was in port and wow it was huge and she was enjoying her cruising. We shop at Aldi’s too for some items and my husband loves them. Not too much there for me except the veggies, but out ALdi’s has lower prices than many other markets.
Have a good week and glad to hear the ear is working now. Yah!

Sheba, nice you and hubby biking together. Been a busy few days here but all good. My dear hubby is still slowly working on my downstairs bathroom refresh. I love the new paint color and fixtures. Hubs think once we do it it’s done forever but no that’s not how it works for me. Does anyone notice Jay King is on a lot and Heidi is not on much? We can always go to her web site.
Have a great week ahead all!

RIP Naomi Judd 🌹✨

I Wish You Love
Natalie ColeGoodbye, no use leading with our chins
This is where our story ends
Never lovers, ever friends
Goodbye, let our hearts call it a day
But before you walk away
I sincerely want to say
I wish you bluebirds in the spring
To give your heart a song to sing
And then a kiss, but more than this
I wish you love
And in July, a lemonade
To cool you in some leafy glade
I wish you health but more than wealth
I wish you love
My breaking heart and I agree
That you and I could never be
So with my best, my very best
I set you free
I wish you shelter from the storm
A cosy fire to keep you warm
But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love
But most of all when snowflakes fall
I wish you love
I wish you love
I wish you love, love, love, love, love
I wish you love
I really wish you love, really wish you love -

Good day on the Gulf Coast. Welcome to a new month and Oodie I hope May is a good
month for you and hubby. 😘✨🌹Oodie when I shop Aldi’s and Hy-Vee some of the fruits and veggies are getting mold
after a few days. I have to watch the expiration date on everything I buy. The Strawberries
will sometime have white mold on the bottom so I have to eat them like within a couple of
days. I am noticing a lot with food most of what I want you cannot find. Shizzle! Here is to a good day and I hope you find all you need. 😘✨

Oz is beautiful today but tomorrow is another story. ✨✨

I very rarely purchase any fruit or veggies at Aldi’s. I only buy their sale items and invariably I am checking freshness. This is one reason why I shop at the Farmer’s Market where everything is fresh and crisp. I have a tendency to look where I put things in the frig, so I expect freshness where they can stand two weeks. I have had no problem with the Farmer’s Market. But Aldi’s. Let me count the ways. Hubby really enjoys strawberries. We were at Aldi’s Friday and not only were the prices high, but they did not look fresh. Red grapes were on sale, but again they were moldy. Bananas were overpriced at $.57/lb. $.45/lb at Farmer’s. However, we do purchase milk, butter, eggs, etc.. These are less expensive. Of course, sometimes it depends on which Aldi you shop in. We sometimes purchase their frozen pizza, shrimp, chicken and small meatballs. Again, for the most part I am reading labels. For instance I do not purchase bread here because corn starch and corn syrup are added to the ingredients. That’s a no no. These are sulfites and when both are together, a huge whammy. I get a kick out of some of the bread items that states no sugar. When you read the label, guess what, Yep corn starch and corn syrup. Also, some of their drinks do not list all the ingredients. What was good the last visit, I’m allergic the next. Maybe it’s just as well. I don’t need the colored water. It’s so easy to do this yourself.
No shopping today. Sinus is bad. And, yes, the pollen count is low. But it’s Oak and grass. The deaf ear can still hear the dial tone. That’s the good thing. That ear is still a bit blocked, but to hear the dial tone—PRICELESS.
You needed a good chuckle and I am glad I helped. You should keep those ruby slippers near you, just in case.
I think I will go start some laundry. Have a great Sunday.
