Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Everything is fine now. I did a victory dance this afternoon. Hubby is happy also and feels he may be in better hands when all is said and done. This surgeon does not believe in full knee replacement unless warranted. He will have all the x-rays and everything else to help with the final decision. Hope your husband’s hearing is getting better. I will tell you that this is a slow process. I had my regular doctor appointment this past Monday and we discussed the Eustachian tube at length. He felt the surgery would give me better hearing immediately, but on the other hand, those stents they use to open the tube do have a tendency to fall out which will require the surgical procedure again. He felt that what I was doing would take a bit longer, but in the long run is the best scenario. My hearing does go in and out but is better. The saline solution does help and can be used whenever needed. Not habit forming and no chemicals to ruin taste or smell.
Hope all goes well with your sil’s and bil’s visit and hope he is feeling better. You have to take each day as it comes and if it is a good one, all the better. Don’t work too hard. I’m sure you will all have a great time. Laughter is the best medicine.

I actually was up very early this morning and decided to leave a message with the surgeon’s assistant. The message was whether or not she received the info from the cardiologist. I needed to know one way or the other. My plan was if the info was not received I would drive to the cardiologist’s office and pickup the info and then drive to the surgeon’s location. She phoned this afternoon and mentioned everything was received yesterday afternoon. I also explained that we really wished to stay with the original hospital. I also mentioned that the cardiologist’s office felt that it would be in our best interest to try and stay where we were. Well, as luck would have it, we will see another surgeon on Friday morning. He is affiliated with the group and thus we will have another perspective at this appointment. It will be gratifying to see and hear what he thinks and when the surgery can be over and done with. Hubby also made a decision not to rush North. I finally got through to him that the heat and humidity is not my cup of tea. No matter how hydrated I am, there is always the possibility of almost fainting. He has noticed that here and fully understands. At least this house has A/C. . Good incentive to get the house completely done. Again, I have no idea when the surgery will be scheduled or if it’s the entire knee or just a small section.
Our surgeon has already transferred to the other hospital. I get the feeling that this was not his idea. Something must have transpired between him and the hospital or with one of his patient’s. I really do not care at this point. Just as long as both of us are happy that is all that matters. Now, I think I will make some chicken broth and add shrimp and scallops with baby bok choy and noodles. I picked up the soba noodles at Costco. They come six to a carton. There is no carbs, no nothing in it. All protein. Hope everyone has a nice evening. Oh, we will make a dry run tomorrow since the office is at a different location and closer to home.
