Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Lol, Ms. Sheba2011.😂😄
For the last week or so I’ve been staying up every morning, keeping busy doing whatever & then sleeping about 3 hours when I finally get sleepy. It’s been in the 70s, but a heatwave is coming Friday – 90s – so, a good excuse for ice cream & other icy concoctions!!😉😅
Have a great ‘hump day’ everyone!!😘 -
Peace Out Peeps! Stay safe and enjoy your evening OZ has storms on the way. ✨✨

Went to the Heidi Daus thread and saw you were quite busy. I loved the floral bicycle pin/brooch. I guess that’s another one I missed. Looks like I am not paying attention.😴😴😴

II did sit down yesterday and wrote a long note. I checked it out this morning, and, somehow it vanished. I also had problems signing in and used another browser. Anyway, we are both OK and hanging in there.
Sunday evening I noticed we were out of bottled water in the house and so I ventured to the van. Hubby followed. He knows I hate going out when it’s dark. We have one raccoon who likes to sit by our bushes and if he sees me, he starts to head towards where I am. I have no idea why. I have never fed him. Go figure. Anyway, I completely forgot that there was a flower moon that evening. I just happened to look up to the sky and the sight was magnificent. A maroon moon. The color was very becoming. I told hubby to look up, but not sure if he saw it since his glasses were in the house. What a delight to stand so steadfast and not hear a pin drop. For a few moments everything was OK in this world.
Hubby’s surgery is a month from yesterday. He meets with our regular physician next Monday and the following week I hope we can get some haircuts in for both of us. I surrnise that the week following Memorial weekend will be busy with hospital appointments and one last meeting with the surgeon prior to surgery. I have already downloaded a few novels into Kindle and the jigsaws are ready for my choosing. I will also bring the plug for recharging the battery.
I’m hoping he won’t have to stay overnight but am ready in case he does. The surgeon feels he does have a heart problem and yet the cardiologist said everything was normal. Go figure. The dishwasher is now repaired. Yes, it was the fault of the plumber. Ne forgot to plug it in. When I didn’t hear from the plumber all last week I decided to contact the appliance repairer they recommended. I will be contacting the plumber within the next day or so. Would have been sooner but had a bad sinus attack with the cough. Today is a better day. I will even feel better once the A/C is back on.
I don’t have to remind you to be careful tonight. Our rain event will be Friday. So far it’s a 50% chance, but will not hold my breath. We certainly could use the rain. Temps today were over 90. Since I’m not a heat and humidity person, I stayed indoors. Hubby thrives in this weather. Me, I drink a lot of liquids and pray I don’t pass out. Can you visualize what I will be up against when we are able to return North. I have a feeling it will be towards the end of July or the middle of August. Oh well, I will cross that bridge when I come near to it.
Oh, forgot. We have a new neighbor next door. She introduced herself last week and then the other day I was outside and thought I saw a pooch in her driveway. Looked like a wagging tail. So, I said hello and it was a grey terrier. So cute. Tail was wagging. And so we played for a short period. Neighbor came over with another dog in her arms. I could tell from his facial expression that he wasn’t too keen on her stopping by. As you know we are not permitted to have pets in our community unless we use a small area designated for one. Anyway, she said they knew and now I am wondering if I can have one as well. Can’t blame me for thinking about it. I do know that the neighbors across from us will not be thrilled. One is highly allergic and I am wondering if it is more than that. Only time will tell.
