No, not a word from the neurologist. I did try to reach the surgeon’s office this morning but got the “voice mail” instead. I may make a phone call myself since I do have a name. At this point I am not a happy camper and neither is hubby. I am beginning to feel like we are getting a complete run around. The last time I spoke with the surgeon (that was right after the episodes at the hospital prior to surgery) he was hoping to see if he could do the surgery a few weeks later. Of course a couple of weeks later brought us into the July 4th time and of course vacations. It wasn’t until our appointment almost two weeks ago that he suggested a neurologist and that he would be making the appointments. I did leave a couple of messages on his assistant’s voice mail both Friday and Monday. Hoping to hear something by Tuesday morning and if not, will make a phone call myself for an appointment. Surgery has been scheduled for next month. which will probably be changed again. Will keep everyone posted on outcome.

Yes, we had rain today. I stuck my head out the front door and we still have humidity, but the air quality seems to be better. Rain started as a real good downpour and then ended up with streaks of lightning and loud thunder claps. I am happy for now since some of our drought situation is getting better. Tuesday, we could see more rain, but after that, rain chances diminishes. So, we can be back to square one. Seems Tampa is doing a victory dance with over 10″ of rain in the last few weeks.

Please, don’t overdo anything at this point. It’s too hot to push yourself. Well, it’s now bedtime for me. Take care and do stay safe.

It’s after 1 am and I just read your post. I’m so sorry that you had to wait all that time to find out the results and now they want to rush on the procedure. Definitely hard to swallow. The only thing I can say is to please, if there is time, find other physicians who know what they are doing. Yes, definitely take all the info you can with you.

We had rain today. Started off as a regular rain event that turned into dancing streaks of lightning and loud claps of thunder. It rained here over an hour. I thought for sure you had some, And yes, though we had rain last week and on Saturday, we are still in a drought situation. But, as I said a few days ago, be careful what you wish for as the weather could really change in the next few weeks.

We still have not heard from the neurologist. Since I have a name, may try to reach out for an appointment myself. I am also tempted to throw the towel in and head North. At times I feel that we are getting a complete run around. Hubby is in constant pain. Mainly the lower back. And yes, I am seeing other issues as well. And like you, with your hubby, scared out of our minds. I will be holding your hand as you go through the process and keep us posted as you go through the questions and answers. before you decide on the right procedure. Take care xango.

Hello Sheba, so good you and Poppy had a morning walk with pleasant temperatures. The rain must of felt good. We had nothing but extreme heat.
We spent most of our day at the doctor’s office. Hubby had some tests done last Friday. They had him wear a heart monitor. And late Friday they called asked him to come in today for the results of the tests, rather then wait for the end of the week which was the original appointment.
We had a mid- morning appointment given by them and when we walked in 10 minutes early the large sitting room was packed, must of had about 30 people waiting.
We waited, and waited and waited. Close to three hours later we were the only ones left.
They took us back the nurse asked us questions by the speed of light as she typed on the computer. And ran out of the room saying someone would be right with us with the results. We’ll, half hour later we were still waiting for the sesults.
Hubby walked off saying some things to them at the front desk. When we got to the car, I went back into the office and told them I would try to convince him to come back. And that we wanted the results and a copy of all his records.
The results are, he has a blockage in his heart and will need to have it removed.
Not sure which method they will take until they do an angiogram to see how much blockage there is. They want to do this right away.
On our way home, we stopped by the grocery store got some cold cuts. We were staving by the time we got home and very tired.
