Conversation – 17

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I am vexed just reading your post on your very long day. I don’t like how the doctor
treated you. I would make sure I had all tests and leave no stone unturned.I am so glad you found your Van. 😜✨🌹
I hope the rain came after you and hubby was safely home. Oodie does your Primary Care
Doctor have a referral service that can find a good specialist? I am concerned about the
care in your area. I do like the North better and I think you do too first things first.
Hubby is in pain and need that surgery but he do need to be cleared by the specialist.Trust your instincts you have no idea how much I wish I was there.

I know you will get through this I am concerned about everybody. Please get some
rest it has been a day but at least you have some answers just no enough it’s a start. ✨ -
Oz is about to start raining right now. I hope you are doing alright and I will send some
rain to your neck of the woods. 😘✨🌹

I contacted the surgeon’s assistant’s voice mail this morning. I mentioned that we had not heard from the neurologist’s office for an appointment. I also said I would make the call myself if I had a name and a phone number. Within a half hour I had a phone call. The response was that the first choice turned out to be a neurologist who works only in the hospital. He does not see patients in an office setting. So she contacted another person who was able to see my hubby this afternoon. The only difficult part was that hubby ran a bit late and by the time we left we had to contend with pouring rain. No thunder and no lightning. And by the time we were three miles from home, no more heavy downpours. We made the appointment just in time.
I will give this physician some credit in that he had not received the fax from the surgeon’s office pertaining to the hospital records. However, I will give him a 3 star out of 5 in that he claims my husband has had dementia for many years. I mentioned that the dementia started the day after he had posts drilled into the bone with no anesthesia because it wore off. He said that wouldn’t be the cause. I , in a nice way, said he was of sound mind when he returned but the next day he was a different person. He would not let me finish speaking and had his own agenda. I also mentioned that hubby falls out of bed and like all physicians he said that he does not have the shakes so it’s not Parkinson’s. I then said his sister was diagnosed and that it took many years and many physicians to say she had anxiety and that was a form of Parkinson’s. No other family member on either side of his family had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. He just brushed it off. I agree that hubby needs to see a neurologist. Just this one thinks he knows better. I really need someone to do the tests and prove me wrong. This doctor has asked for blood work and a MRI. I will let the orthopedist know what occurred today and that he has no record of receiving a fax with the records from the hospital. Oh, I also stated that on a good day when hubby is without pain, he is OK as if nothing is wrong. Even his voice is different. I mean that in a good way. It will be interesting to see the difference following surgery and when there is no pain whatsoever.
I had a real scare when the appointment was over. We went out the way we went in, or at least I thought we did. Anyway, there was no van in the parking lot. I looked all over, no van. Decided to return to the building and to ret urn to the office thinking the van was stolen. As I walked in, saw someone walking out at the other end. I decided to follow. Went out and looked around and there was the van. I did not know there were two entrances and exits. What a relief. We decided to return home. No stop at the Farmer’s Market, though it was close by. And, as we drove home, some more storm clouds were forming. At that point I was happy. This turned out to be quite a rain event. The weeds are happy. Pick up on branches, twigs and whatever is tomorrow. I think I will just put the trimmings of the bushes and some weeding out for pickup. It’s to hot to do much else.
Well, I vented enough. I think I will try to find an neurologist on my own. I may be able to do a better job. Take care, Sheba. We will get through this.

Good Vibrations
The Beach BoysI-I love the colorful clothes she wears
And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair
I hear the sound of a gentle word
On the wind that lifts her perfume through the air
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations
She’s giving me the excitations (oom bop bop)
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations (good vibrations, oom bop bop)
She’s giving me the excitations (excitations, oom bop bop)
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations (oom bop bop)
She’s giving me the excitations (excitations, oom bop bop)
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations (oom bop bop)
She’s giving me the excitations (excitations)
Close my eyes, she’s somehow closer now
Softly smile, I know she must be kind
When I look in her eyes
She goes with me to a blossom world
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations
She’s giving me excitations (oom bop bop)
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations (good vibrations, oom bop bop)
She’s giving me excitations (excitations, oom bop bop)
Good, good, good, good vibrations (oom bop bop)
She’s giving me excitations (excitations, oom bop bop)
Good, good, good, good vibrations (oom bop bop)
She’s giving me excitations (excitations)
Ah, ah, my my, what elation
I don’t know where but she sends me there
Oh, my my, what a sensation
Oh, my my, what elation
Oh, my my, what
Gotta keep those lovin’ good vibrations a-happenin’ with her
Gotta keep those lovin’ good vibrations a-happenin’ with her
Gotta keep those lovin’ good vibrations a-happenin’
Good, good, good, good vibrations (oom bop bop)
She’s giving me the excitations (excitations, oom bop bop)
I’m pickin’ up good vibrations
Na na na na na, na na na
Na na na na na, na na na (bop bop-bop-bop-bop, bop)
Do do do do do, do do do (bop bop-bop-bop-bop, bop)

Good afternoon Sheba, so good to get some rain. Lately here all it does is rumbles, the sky darkens and nothing happens.
I have to do some jiggling and see what and how to accomplish what needs to be done. We are going to speak with the doctor this Friday and see all that is needed.
The outside plants dry out so quickly. And that’s the morning sun only. That’s how hot it’s here.
Well outside there’s rumbles again, it better rain this time😄.
Take care Sheba 🙂
