Hello and how are you doing today?
I had a chance to speak with family members from Brazil today and soon I will have one more grand nephew to add the my list. My nephew and his wife are having a baby boy at the end of August. At the moment I have 13 grand nieces and nephews. I have 6 nieces and two nephews.

I must confess, I don’t read much about everybody in this thread. I am hopeful and wishing you get good news when you see your doctor.
My MIL had bypass a few years ago, and my BIL had it last year. His wife had to have a valve repair. I suppose it’s in the family because so did my FIL some years back.

In my family, my dad passes from cancer and so did my two brothers with lung cancer.
I don’t smoke, I never started nor had the desire for it.
My mother started smoking with my dad many years before I was born. Stopped while pregnant, but started back up. She tried to quit many a times but was not able.
She passed from a stroke and extreme high blood pressure.

It’s a lovely day here not much humidity and I was outside watering my front yard plants.
I remembered I had an hat I used to wear in Jacksonville. After looking for it and finding it, used it and made a big difference not having my head in the Sun.

I am glad you and your husband are having things done this week. I hope Monday goes well and you can rest assured that everything will be fine.
After it’s all over, he will be walking with no pain. Pain can drive a person to change personality and can made one not enjoy things.

My hubby has his Pre-Op on Tuesday, his procedure on Friday. On Friday we will take a cab or Uber to the hospital, I can’t drive his vehicle. I don’t have my car anymore, we donated it. He will be spending the night in the hospital, we were told one night in most cases or if needed two nights.

I truly hope and pray next week will be a new start for your husband and the beginning of less stress for you. Your husband sounds like a strong guy so tell him to keep his mind focused and to try his hardest at rehab. Advice from my husband and girlfriend – take a pain pill about an hour before rehab and he will be a champ!🙏💖

Good luck to you and your husband with his upcoming procedures. I am just glad they found the problem before something bad happened. My husband had emergency bypass surgery years ago and I felt like I was on a hospital TV show. Everyone running back and forth and rushing to the OR. And then they had the nerve to ask me if I had any questions as we were racing to the elevator. It was a shock but all turned out fine. I will be saying prayers for you both.🙏💖

Echo went okay for the most part. A lot was the same as last year although there was a slight change in one valve. Doc said she would discuss it with me at my appointment on Friday.

Waiting to hear if I am a great aunt again. My nephew (and Godchild) and his wife were due on 8/13 but heard from my ex-SIL on Friday that they were going to induce labor Saturday. I’m assuming she meant yesterday but I haven’t gotten a call or email yet. This is their first so I am anxious to hear. Maybe something changed?🙄

Was not able to get cheesecake yesterday but you know me – I don’t need a special day to eat desserts!🍰 I fulfill the urge whenever needed.😊 Hope you have a good evening and great week. Hugs to you and Poppy.

week for me for so many reasons. The lord never gives us more than we can bear.

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast of Florida. This will be a busy and challenging week
for you. I know you will get through this. I will be thinking good vibes for you and hubby.

Oodie I wish there was more I could do. We are all here for you. ✨🌹

Oodie yesterday was surreal in the cemetery it was all and more that you said.
I was alone no one else was there I walked in with the warmth of the sun and left
with droplets of rain. A beautiful butterfly lead me to my father’s resting place. ✨😘
I could feel him and them clouds moved in the place was so peaceful.

What happened was the gates were locked and I went through a small fence
I know anything could have been in there but I am a good fighter and runner. 😎
I kept my mind positive and spent some time at the gravesite. I miss my father
even more. Well two years will be next week. I have never cried so much.

So I am going to wish you a great day. Please take it easy and try not to do too much.

Oz was nice yesterday hubby and I were in a open Plaza and there was a live Jazz Band
the music was wonderful and calmed me down a bit. Oodie let me know how you are today.
