Good afternoon to you. Did my duty in the kitchen today and getting ready to bake a pan of stuffed banana peppers, probably two days worth.🌶

A very close friend of mom’s, she grew up with him, went to school with him and me and sis grew up with his kids died a few days ago in a car accident.😥 Funeral home tomorrow, funeral on Thursday so it will be a busy week. Sis leaves very early on Saturday, 5:15 AM, so my husband will be taking her to the airport around 3:00 AM.😮 A friend of mine flew a couple weeks ago and she got to the airport around 5:00 AM and said it was packed. I guess everyone is trying to get early flights because of the cancellations.

That’s about it in the ‘burgh, heating up a little more each day.🔥 That’s why I’m baking the peppers today, don’t want to turn on the oven the rest of the week. Have a nice evening in your zoo, talk to the animals for me.🐶🐰🐈🥰

Hello Sheba, that’s great news👏👏👏👏 The Echo Test was passed with flying colors.
It’s a very hot day here and no rain. Yesterday in the afternoon it thunder some, the sun went behind the clouds but no rain.
Later in the early part of the evening the Sun came out we give a nice Sunset.
Hubby is coming along, I made oatmeal with blueberries, Hummus Dip for snacking and a veggie burger for lunch.
Dinner will be fish in the oven, vegetables and cauliflower rice.

I saw your avatar and decided to pop in and say hello. Hope you are having a great day and hubby is practicing his exercises and feeling better every day. I am about to go outside to trim the last bush and then clear and clean our garage area unless it becomes to hot to pursue anything. So far the sun is out. Not sure if it will rain anytime soon. Anyway, this is a quick note. Hope you get some rest. Take care. Stay safe.

I am about to go outside to trim the last bush and to start cleaning the garage area. I will be taking the last measurements for the outdoor rug for the lanai. When I need a break have one more drawer in the kitchen to go through. Too many of the same item. Hubby will need to help with the decision making.

I mentioned that our new next door neighbor has two pooches. They now come over to say hi whenever they are out and about and they see me. I spoke to a dear friend not too long ago who has a home in Venice. She mentioned that there is a dog park for everyone including non residents. The dog park happens to be on the Gulf with loads of sand. There are fire hydrants for the pets along with drinking water for them and their human caretakers. Even a shower to get the sand off the fur. Of course there are rules to follow, but I bet she would love to use this area. Funny, I remember seeing this area when visiting in Venice. These friends were our neigbors on the Cape.

It is another hot day on the Gulf coast. Not sure if it will rain. The humidity is 80% and at night it will jump to 95% or more. Yikes!!!!!

Well, I’m off to do whatever outside. Have plenty of water with me since the water from the hose comes from the lake. Not a good thing. Actually, the water here is non drinkable because of the seepage from factories, though some of the residents will beg to differ with me. I do not like taking chances. We have tried water purifiers to no avail. So bottled is a good resort.

Ending a Marriage

If you are experiencing divorce, look into your inner heart for guidance and surround yourself with loving friends.

Like the act of marriage that binds two people together, divorce is the result of a life-altering decision. It is the dissolving of a relationship that we believed would last our whole lives. We may not even be able to articulate how we got to this place, yet we may also feel we have no choice but to sever this tie. Whatever we feel, we need the support of the friends and family who will stand by us no matter what we decide. At some point, we may need to be challenged to look deeper inside ourselves as we make this very important decision, but what we need most of all is unconditional love and loyalty.

Divorce is a process that, once in motion, becomes difficult to stop, and this can be painful if we find ourselves having second thoughts. We may feel that we should do more to save the marriage, or we may wonder if there is something about ourselves that we could fix or change instead of going through with this painful separation. On the other hand, we may be seeing in hindsight that our marriage was truly only meant to last for a short time so that we could learn something we needed to know. Whatever the case, we need friends who will allow us to linger in confusion when we don’t have the answers and who will support us whether we find ways to reconcile and stay married or whether we walk away.

Of course, the most essential ally we have lives inside our hearts and speaks to us from within. We can trust this inner guide to help us choose people who will support us in kind and loving ways as we navigate the rough terrain of confusion and loss. Sometimes all we can do is look to the horizon, remembering that we will get through this time, and no matter what happens we will once again feel whole. ✨✨✨✨✨
