Thanks for taking the time from your busy schedule to wish my hubby a Happy Birthday. For the most part it was quiet. It was too hot and too humid to celebrate. Then again, he was complaining about a back ache and leg pain. Surgery is in two and half weeks, but whose counting. I just hope and pray that the surgery will help both the back and knee pain. According to the surgeon the reason for the back pain is due to the knee and not walking in an upright position. With the surgery and physical therapy, he should be feeling better in six weeks and able to drive me crazy within 13 weeks. Due to weather, not sure about the drive North in the middle of November/beginning of December. Then again, the return?????

The only thing hubby wanted to do yesterday was Aldi’s. And that is all we did. At times the sky looked threatening, and then in the blink of an eye, the dark clouds vanished. Have no idea where they went. But whatever they were selling, we didn’t get any.

Today was a different story. Around noon the dark clouds started to move in. About an hour later it started to rain. A slow, gentle rain for about two hours. Then the clouds thickened and the thunder started. A lightning flash took us both by surprise. It was a loud clash that sounded like it either hit our home or a window. I will be checking the area shortly and hope no damage was done.

Looking forward to when the four of us can get together. Since your hubby is recovering and mine is still facing surgery, it will be a few weeks yet before we can make any plans. Though we are talking about returning North for a few weeks, still not sure if the timing will be feasible. I’m looking at flying rather than driving and making our doctor visits during the time we are in town. Since the time will be a short duration, we will not have access to TV, Internet or Wifi. Doesn’t pay to contact Comcast and to return the equipment prior to heading South. Definitely not like Spectrum. During the Covid crisis, Spectrum gave their customers a year to get back on track, while Comast gave only two weeks. I had to cancel everything by phone.

Glad that hubby is doing well. What happens to Physical Therapy?? Does he go somewhere to continue, or is that process done and the rest is up to him. My hubby will be scheduled for Therapy beginning the day of surgery and going three times per week starting that week. I surmise that week will be Wednesday and Friday, though I haven’t heard anything as yet.
