Conversation – 17

Got a late start going to the hospital for the labs. We woke early enough, but hubby was in a talking mood and of course when I looked at the time, had to rush through my shower and his also. We arrived at the time of his appointment, but were a half hour late in getting to the lab area because we had to register first. We were there over two hours. No meeting with the Case Manager. Never saw her or him. I surmise that is discussed the day of surgery. So now this will mean another call to the surgeon’s assistant tomorrow since we didn’t arrive home until well after their offices closed for the day. I actually have two questions. Do I pack things for him to wear for a week, two weeks, or three. What about the meds. Do they have them or will I need to pack them as well. That includes the prescripts for after the surgery and the regular ones along with the vitamins. I do not know why they just don’t tell you these things during the lab segments. Why wait to the day of when the person who drives must return home and then drive to the rehab wherever that may be. Hmm…..Just to be on the safe side, will pack a bag without the meds since I will be leaving everything in a hot hot car. Oops I mean van.

No rain. Dark clouds on the horizon. Never made it here. The temp this morning was already in the 90s and the humidity was above the temp. I put the A/C on when we returned home. Hubby is asleep. Will wake him in a couple of hours for his pills. He had a real rough day.

Tomorrow is the normal day for recycling. Because of the holiday it will be Friday. Trivia is Friday. Where has the week gone???????? Didn’t accomplish much. Hope for a good and better day tomorrow.

Oh, one of my rugs arrived today. It wasn’t expected until Friday or Monday. It was wrapped in plastic and the outline is just what I had hoped. It looks kind of big for the lanai, but in case it is, I have another place for it. And if it doesn’t fit in the second area, the third is the deck on the Cape. Actually, it will definitely fit in the guest bedroom at the Cape. No doubts there. k

Good afternoon Sheba, it’s another hot day here. I see you are multi tasking.
We got back from the hospital not too long ago. Saw the surgeon assistant, she did the usual thing and took the stitches out. Next week is the Cardiologist.
Got back took our clothes off dropped in the laundry room and took a shower.
Hubby is in his PJ’s and is taking a nap on his chair.
I am not sure what’s for dinner. Perhaps a chickpea bean stew for hubby. Me, I can eat just anything.

Evolution of the Soul

Each lifetime brings with it specific lessons that are necessary for our spiritual evolution.

You meet someone for the first time and feel as if you know them already. You’re in a town you’ve never been to before, yet you recognize streets and buildings. You start playing a new sport and amaze everyone, including yourself, at your natural abilities and intuitive knowing of the rules. We often describe such experiences as déjà vu: the experience or feeling that a new situation has happened to us before. Then again, the possibility does exist that we have actually lived these experiences in the past or, rather, in another lifetime.

Many spiritual practices believe that reincarnation is real, that our souls return to this earth over a series of lifetimes to evolve, learn, grow, transform, and become more spiritually attuned through the course of each life. When we reincarnate, it is believed that we tend to cycle through our different lives with many of the same people. Often these “soul companions” are the ones we enter into relationships with; we work through our unresolved issues together so that we may heal. When we struggle or keep encountering blocks that keep us from reaching our goals, there may be a specific lesson that we are supposed to learn in this lifetime. Being naturally blessed with a musical talent or another gift can be a special ability that you worked hard to develop in a past life. You live as other genders, races, and as part of different social or economic classes to experience different aspects of life. Each lifetime brings with it specific lessons that are necessary for our spiritual evolution.

Past life recall can give us valuable insights into our past, present, and future lives. The knowledge of how we lived before can help us overcome present obstacles, understand phobias, and resolve relationship issues. There are workshops you can take to learn about past lives, and past life regression therapists can guide you on your journey backward in time. You can learn to visit your past lives through your dreams, meditation, and trance work. It is even possible to see full scenes of a former lifetime flash before you in your mind’s eye as if you were watching a movie. While looking back at your past lives can be exciting and enlightening, it is important to remember that the answers you are seeking to this life can only truly be found by living this one. Look to your past to see where you’ve been, but remember that the life that matters most is the one that you are living now. AMEN! ✨✨
