Good evening I have been out and about today and multi-tasking. I took Poppy for a good
grooming job I mean shampoo with conditioner, haircut the works. My baby smells so good.

Back to basics I am glad you faired well during the terrible storm. I hate you had that accident
in the store I think I would have filed the accident report because pain does not sat in for
a day or two. Xango how are you tonight? 😘😘

I am very worried and concerned about Oodiebom and her husband I am not liking this
one bit. I hope it’s only a power outage I dream is that Oodiebom will post when she is able
to. I am saying prayers the fact she lives near a lake worries me. 🌹🌹

Oodie is a smart cookie and if anyone can get through this it’s her. All she and hubby
wanted to do was get back to the North. ✨✨

I am tired from running around all day but we got a lot done. Our four kids are alright
and they dodge a huge storm. 💕 BTW I hope the store fix the door so no one else
will get hurt.

Good afternoon in Oz. I am so, so happy😊 we heard from xango and her and her husband are safe (albeit some sore bones and muscles) but she will heal. Now we wait for the second sigh of relief. I have a feeling Oodie may have had some flooding because of the lake by her house.

Taking it easy today. It is cool and rainy from Ian in the ‘burgh.🌧 Going up to mom’s tomorrow to take her out for an early dinner. She has a lunch on Tuesday, lunch on Thursday, me on Friday and the chair comes Saturday so she has a full week!😮 Which means I have a full week.😅 BIL is getting his gallbladder out a week from Monday.🤞🤞

Good luck tomorrow night, I will be watching.🏈 I hope you are feeling better and sending love back to you!🥰💖

OMG, I am so happy to hear from you.🤗 What a week you’ve had but it sounds like you got very lucky compared to others. I’m sure you were scared and praying through the whole ordeal. Sounds like the hurricane hit you more in that bathroom, please take it easy and recover. I just can’t imagine living through that and the amount of rain your area got.⛈ You and your husband are safe, everything else can be replaced or repaired. Please know that you made my Saturday.😊 Now we need to wait on Oodie. Love to you and your husband, continued prayers for you and all of Florida.💗🙏

Hello ladies,  we had no power since Wednesday night. Came back on sometime earlier this morning.  The storm did much damage in Florida as you have already seen on TV, so far 64 deaths.
We faired well at our home, it was rain and winds all day Wednesday. But at night the bands started arriving and the rain and huge winds started up and power went out. There are lots of communities without power still. We had minor damage to our front window.  Water came in threw the bottom of the front door and on the bottom of the back patio door.  Somehow the patio door leaks into the track even after husband had sealed it this summer.  This Summer hubby also sealed a crack in the stucco, if not we probably would have water in our bedroom like some people did in our community.  The back yard and the woods area, the wind made a path breaking trees from left to right. Only one tree fell in our yard, and that the grass cutting people will need to take care of.
Others in our community had their roof leak, some had cracks in the stucco and water damage, thus getting their carpet wet.
I am cleaning out of the refrigerator of all things that spoiled. The freezer stayed cool and the items frozen. We only opened it once and that was the night the power went out to take frozen bottles of water to place in the refrigerator.

I went back a few days to read the posts hoping to hear from Oodiebom.  I am worried about them.  She said they lived in Manatee Country. Which is just above Sarasota, and below St. Petersburg, and  Ruskin Florida.
I believe Oodie and her husband live by the water, which means they most likely had to be evacuated. And probably lost power. Hoping to hear from them soon.

Since we had no power and hubby not fully recovered yet, we couldn’t dig our grill out of the garage with so much stuff in the way.
We went out for coffee yesterday, got cappuccinos at Panera Bread. I got two croissants, we sat outside and was a beautiful day filled with sunshine.
Then we decided to look around the shopping mall, saw a furniture store and decided to go there. It was closed, so we got in the car and drove to another mall. Went to Big Lots to look around. Walked all around then I had to use the rest room. As I went in the door slammed shut. Then as I came out, I used a wipes to open the door and as I turned to throw it in the trash next to the door inside the bathroom. The door slammed to close knocking me, as it did that I tripped and the door slammed into me to close knocking me to the floor.  It was a bad fall, I landed on my left side and could not get up. Husband could not pull me up. He had to get help, the manager and another man came. I said one on each arm and pull me up, I can’t do myself and I weight around 185 lbs. They got me up and it took me a moment to catch my breath. 
I checked myself and nothing was  broken, the manager gave me a bottle of water and asked if I wanted to file a accident report. I said no, nothing was broken I then asked him his age.  He said 65, I said so Am I. And mention to him that at our age our body will feel the next day. And yes my left arm, all left side including the muscles on my chest are all very sore.  And since I had tried to get up on my own at first I was on my knees and now the knees hurt too. I hate being old😁
Once I started talking I asked if that door had done that before to other people.  They looked at each other and said no.  I can just imagine what the door could  do to a child or a person in their 80. Because it clearly threw me to the ground. But a few days my muscles should be back to normal.
