Charlie better be careful in case Poppy takes a bite out of him protecting his mom. That will really get you out of bed in a hurry!🤣

Scrubbed some floors, did laundry and pulled out the last dead leaves from lilies and irises.😖 Husband caught his second raccoon🦝 in a week that was digging up the yard. He has a cage and takes them down near a creek and woods to let them go.

Hello Sheba, a warm day here with 50 percent of humanity and lots of sunshine 🌞.
I am so very glad your husband saw Charlie and got him to safety. He sounds so precious and loving.
I am feeling a lot more better from that horrible fall. Only a small bruise on my left side.
My arm is functioning as normal, but I am not over doing it.
My family in Brazil are going strong. Brazil had elections no one received 50+percent of the votes. So now they will have a run off on October 30th. And over there, everyone must vote. You will be fined and you must pay all fines for not voting😬
My nephew and his wife had to baby boy the same time hubby was in the hospital. Such a beautiful baby, big blue eyes. It runs in the family blue and green eyes, comes from the German side of my mother’s family.
One of my grand niece is starting her second year in college. We helped her purchase a condominium near the college for her. In the future she can either sell it or rent it out should she decides to move away.
Oh my goodness, I bet you were scared not knowing what or who was in your room. But after, the reward of snuggling with Charlie in bed made all fear go away.
I miss not having a cat to snuggle with in bed right beside me, on top on my head and sharing my pillow with.
My first cat back in 1978-79, he was just a little thing about one month old. He liked sleeping on top of my head on my pillow. After he got okder and bigger many times I would awake up in a little corner of the pillow with my head almost out of the pillow.
I am not sure when will Florida get the memo it’s Autumn 😆 Many a times it goes from Summer to Winter.

I see a cat and kitten laying down. Moms body to the right, back knees up, (cut off black & white area left of left eye facing us}, white face, 2 eyes. Kitten to right of face, white leg, head, 2 ears, face. 2 eyes, nose, mouth. I hope you see, since your like cats.

I really don’t look for oddities, they just seem to jump out at me.

The weather is perfect here today in northern MD & we are on the way to northern VA to help FIL pack up more stuff. I think I get to pack up all the kitchen items today.☺

Ultimately, you are the one you have been waiting for

We spend a lot of our lives looking for role models, mentors, teachers, and gurus to guide us on our path. There is nothing wrong with this, and in fact, finding the right person at the right time can really help. However, it is important to realize that in the absence of such a figure, we can still very safely rely upon ourselves. We carry within us everything we need to know to make progress on our paths to self-realization. The outer world serves as a mirror. Or to use another metaphor, our inner world has a magnetic force that draws to us what we need to evolve to the next level.

The path of the spirit is often thought of as a journey with a specific goal, such as finding the fabled pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. In this metaphor, a person begins a search for something they want and then they go off to find it, and there is a happy ending when they do. However, most of us know that getting what we want only makes us happy for a moment, and then the happiness passes as soon as a new object of desire presents itself. Joy, however, is a permanent aspect of our inner selves; it is not separate from us at any point. We do not have to travel to find joy or even imagine that it resides only in the body of another. In fact, what the best teachers will do is point out that this very precious elixir is something we all already possess.

So when we find ourselves on our path not knowing which way to turn and wishing for guidance, we can turn to ourselves. We may not know the right answer rationally or intellectually, but if we simply ask, let go, and wait patiently, an answer will come. The more we practice this and trust this process, the less we will look outside ourselves for teachers and guides, for we will have successfully become our own teacher. AMEN! ✨✨

Lady I had a nice shock this morning when Charlie climbed into my bed after hubby left
for work. I remember so many days when my cats would sleep with me. 😘💕✨

I am trying not to make Poppy jealous he did not notice Charlie in the bed. LOL!

Oz is alright today a wee bit warm but dry. No worries we shall have rain in a few days.
