Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, have very vague memories of the Monkeys, but still sad when someone passes. You also posted a nice tribute to Dole. Today I dropped my goods off and was halfway to a grocery store I wanted to go too and it was only 2:30pm so I went, well parking was fine but when I went back to my vehicle, 2 larger vehicles were on each side and I could barely open the door. Loaded a few groceries at the back. Took me about 5 tries to back out in a tight space so I was frazzled and went home to chill out and walk.
Yay! to the appts being over with and you feeling good!
Have a good weekend. -
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there for you. Sending hugs. At times like this, I am totally at a loss for words. Just know that I care and am thinking of you. Please take care of yourself and keep in touch.

Great to see you in Trivia. A good time was enjoyed by all. Now, if we can just get those questions posted in the Rewards Store. Hmmm…….Have a great weekend. Hope to see you next week.

@Sheba
I see “West Side Story” is in theaters. As much as we enjoy this movie, right now, with everything that is going on, I think we will pass. I just do not want to take any chances, especially now with hubby beginning to feel better, though his knee is still a problem. My biggest concern right now is the Orthopedic appointment in two weeks and a few hours later an appointment with our physician. At the time I mentioned that this was a concern, but it was the only one that was opened. It is the wait time in the office area that has me really concerned. We were about 20 minutes early and still had forms to complete before going to the reception area. Then it was over an hour wait time and another hour and a half before he returned. So it was after 1 pm before we were on our way. If this happens again, we will just be making our next appointment on time even with traffic. No time for brunch. But will have time for dinner. Oh well. Wish we could cancel the second one, but it will be impossible.
Trivia tonight was fun. Between Sanibel and Xango we not only had the questions, but the answers as well. Your lemonade with Dragon Fruit looks amazing. I will let you know when Ninja is up and running. Our home is only 1250 square ft.. So it’s almost impossible to find shelf and closet space. We found something that we liked, however the price keeps going up and our realtor friend says to have patience. I have a feeling that hubby may be heading for orthopedic surgery on the knee and that poses another problem. It will probably be as an out patient. But to get him home may be out of the question since there are steps leading up to the front door as well as to the den. The den area is a bit easier, but not sure after surgery. I will wait and see what the MD says at our next visit. Also will check on the anesthesia to make sure he gets enough oxygen for his heart and brain. I do not want or wish any repercussions.
Yesterday, hubby prepared both breakfast and dinner. It was the first time in months that he used the top of the stove and the first time for our new toaster oven. I showed him how it worked over a week ago and I was totally surprised that he retained the lesson, a short one at that. Miracles do happen and right now I am living proof. Though his voice is still weak, I assume that will improve once the pain in the knee goes away. Yes, he is awake more now. At least this week being the first that he didn’t sleep all day. And, he is trying to help me. Though I do give him the tiny projects so there is no heavy lifting involved. I get the water from Costco and stop at the customer service desk for help. I do not trust hubby because he thinks he is still a “He-Man.” Yes, we drink bottled water. The water in our area tastes awful and I found out years ago that is polluted and does carry carcinogens. The water on the East coast is worse because factories have been poring chemicals not only into the ocean but also in lakes and streams that feed our water supply. I do the same with the house North. However, the Cape drinking water from the tap is delicious, but now they are having problems. It will be interesting to see how all this will turn out. This should answer your question from a few days ago.
We have physical therapy on Monday and Tuesday next week. Hair appointment for me on Tuesday. Come to think of it, outside of marketing, this is the only outlet I have. Been doing a lot of shopping on line. Well, enough for now. Have a great evening. Give Poppy a nice pet from me. Take care and enjoy the rest of today.
