Hello Sheba, I too was missing family members that are no longer with us here. You are right, it’s the Holidays that makes us miss them even more. But I am sure we both treasure those who are still here with us all. How was your Thanksgiving? Did Poppy get some Turkey?
Ours turned out just right, I made chicken since we don’t like Turkey or Ham.
Today is a quiet day, a little clean up and thinking about the decorations of Autumn to be taken
down. And the ones for Christmas that I want to put up. Not sure how much I want to do, because I am the one to put up and take down.
Some of the Milkweed still have a few Caterpillars, and some are having seed pods opening with seeds. I am saving all of the seeds I can get for next year.

Good afternoon and thanks for the tea, I have been drinking it all day. It is cold and blustery in the ‘burgh, around 33.🥶 Not going anywhere today, staying warm in the house and ordered a couple things online. I don’t have a lot to buy this year. A couple kids off the list, I buy until they turn 18, and I promised mom no surprise gifts, only money.🤑 Gave the nieces their gifts when we went to visit last Sunday. I always get candles for the hairdresser, mail lady, etc., and a large Harry & David or Hickory Farms basket that is delivered to our best friends. So not a lot of running around this year.

Unlike you, I ate a lot yesterday, my body is in carb heaven!🤭 Easy leftovers today for dinner. Have a relaxing evening and stay warm by the fire.🔥 A little something to help.🍷

Balance

A balanced lifestyle is simply a state of being, in which one has time and energy for obligations and pleasures.

Like pieces of a puzzle, the many different aspects of your being come together to form the person that you are. You work and play, rest and expend energy, commune with your body and soul, exalt in joy, and feel sorrow. Achieving balance requires that you assess what is important to you. The many demands of modern life can push us to make choices that can put us off balance and have a detrimental effect on our habits, relationships, health, and career. In creating a balanced lifestyle, you must ascertain how much time and energy you are willing to devote to the different areas of your life. To do so, imagine that your life is a house made up of many rooms. Draw this house, give each part of your life its own room, and size each room according to the amount of importance you assign to that aspect of your life. You can include family, solitude, activities that benefit others, healthy eating, indulgences, exercise and working on self. You may discover that certain elements of your life take up an inordinate amount of time, energy, or effort and leave you with few resources to nurture the other aspects of your life. You may want to spend less time on these activities and the ones that fulfill you.

A balanced lifestyle is simply a state of being in which one has time and energy for obligations and pleasures, as well as time to live well and in a gratifying way. With its many nuances, balance can be a difficult concept to integrate into your life. Living a balanced existence, however, can help you attain a greater sense of happiness, health, and fulfillment.
