I finally have a solution. In 2019, during cyber week, I purchased a two shelf desk unit for a printer and for storing the paper. It was still in the original box and I had written that it was for my office at the Cape. I decided to take the box apart and put it together. Found directions on-line and got the first shelf installed. It is all wood and the sides are metal. Weighs almost 20 lbs. Anyway, hubby decided to do the second shelf after he saw how hard I worked on the first part. He didn’t find it easy either. Anyway, it is all put together and it is small, but yet may be too large for the counter. Still, the shelf is sturdy enough to hold the ice marker. The other solution is to put the shelf into the hallway closet and the ice maker on the shelf. This should make it easy for us to pick it up when needed without hurting our backs. Then there is one other place. We have a kitchen bar area where we sometimes enjoy a meal. It is also a small office with just small address books with paper and pens because the phone is there. The ice maker may look real good in that area. I will give this spot a try once everything is cleared.

Hubby’s knee has really been hurting the past couple of days. The weatherman today may have given us a reason. Another front is headed our way, but it will only lower the humidity. Still no rain is in sight, so either tomorrow or Monday will go out with the watering can since we can only use the hose on Fridays. Hopefully, we will get some precipitation soon, but not holding my breath since winter is usually dry in Florida.

Good evening to you. Late tonight because of the hockey game – boring!!😴 I don’t like 1-0 games, I want to see 6-4 or something along those lines.

Got my booster today, arm is sore, hope that is all like the other two shots.💉 Really lousy day here with rain and wind.🌧🌪 It felt like night time at 2:00 this afternoon.

BIL has a slow road ahead. He is still in the hospital doing dialysis and PT. He will need dialysis three times a week after he gets out but don’t know for how long. My SIL is having her tub taken out and installing a walk-in shower which will be much easier for him. He’s had a lot of problems over the years because he was in a mining accident but this time really took a toll on his strength.🦾 I think he will be in the hospital at least another week. Will be nice if he can get home before Christmas.🎄

Thank you, Sheba, for your kind thoughts & words. I lived in MO for 33 years, then moved to VA for a few months & then to MD. I’ve visited Kansas City, KS, & Kansas City, MO – on a motorcycle!! I’ve had relatives who lived in Lexena, KS, & another town whose name escapes me at the moment.

Thank you for your kind words. My husband & myself are doing well. Hopefully we will stay well. Our booster and also flu vaccine is scheduled for Dec. 29. I mostly stay at home & he goes out for supplies & takeout. We’re back to staying masked up unless we’re eating in a restaurant. Went to Texas Roadhouse on Thurs. for the first time in months. And we have a close local Mexican restaurant that we love, but I haven’t been there since Sept. or October. We’re hanging in there – just trying to stay healthy.🤞🙏💜
