Conversation – 17
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

You better not pout 💋sometimes you just have to pick yourself up and make your own MERRY in life. 🎀 There is no one more responsible for YOUR own happiness than you. I’m guilty of it too, waiting around for Merry to come in and make me feel better, or bring me happiness … but we can be waiting a long time…if you want to feel good and MERRY start with you. Let go of the expectations, have fun, make mistakes, laugh and just be YOU … Let go of the things that aren’t bringing you joy, find what does and do more of it… go out and bring your own bit of MERRY to your day. ❤️🎀💋🎄🌸💕 ✨✨

I took hubby to his Physical Therapy and arrived about 20 minutes early. As usual, I sat in the car with a book and started to read when someone parked on the other side of me and started talking. Seems her husband had surgery on a knee with the same physician my husband is using. She said he was tops and we would like him and his assistant. She also mentioned that friends/neighbors had also used this physician and are extremely happy. He takes his time with all his patients and I surmise that is the reason why the long long wait time. It certainly made me feel better and really relieved to know he is in good hands. I will know more next week after his appointment. I was absolutely surprised when he returned to the car and asked about his appointment tomorrow. He cancelled it. He remembered…….😀😀😀😀😀🧨🧨🧨
No marketing today. He was too exhausted and couldn’t wait to get home. Air appointment tomorrow and following I will see how he is. Not going to push. I need a gift for my hair person and will buy something special for her tomorrow after the appointment. The salon is only three or four miles from our home so it is an easy drive. I did sent gifts to my neighbors at the Cape and also to the ones at the other house. Both should be delivered by either Thursday or Friday this week., The place I purchased from have five starred reviews. I just hope those customers are right. I also sent a gift to the people at the reception desk where I stayed for a month. They were super to deal with.
I didn’t realize that Loaf’s husband isn’t well. I hope he is doing better. Hopefully you will hear from her soon. The not knowing is the question.
Take care of yourself and stay well . Oh, before I forget. They are talking about a second booster for the Omnicom. If it isn’t one thing, it’s another.

Sheba, hope you have a wonderful week ahead as well.
It’s been quite and in a good way 🙂
Hike was awesome and it was nice and crispy cold. We have had heat on the last few evenings. Did a bit more clearing out, just 2 shoe box sized items and a few other things. Gave in and order Heidi Lantern Pin.
What have you and Poppy been doing? Are you kids heading home for Christmas? -

nothing else but you everTony:
And there’s nothing for me but Maria,
every sight that i see is Maria.Maria:
Tony, Tony…Tony:
Always you, every thought I’ll ever know,
every where I go,

Tonight, tonight, it all began to night
I saw you and the world went away
tonight, tonight,
there’s only you tonight,
what you are what you do, what you say.
Today,

Tonight, tonight,
the world is full of light,
with suns and moons all over the place.
Tonight, tonight, the world is wild and bright,
going mad shooting sparks into space.
Today,
the world was just an address,
a place for me to live in,
no better than all right,
but here you are,
and what was just a world is a star
Tonight….Tony and Maria:
…Goodnight, goodnight
sleep well and when you dream,

Do They Know It’s Christmas?
Song by Band AidIt’s Christmas time, there’s no need to be afraid
At Christmas time, we let in light and we banish shade
And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world at Christmas time
But say a prayer, Pray for the other ones
At Christmas time it’s hard, but when you’re having fun
There’s a world outside your window
And it’s a world of dread and fear
Where the only water flowing
Is the bitter sting of tears
And the Christmas bells that ring
There are the clanging chimes of doom
Well tonight thank God it’s them instead of you
And there won’t be snow in Africa this Christmas time
The greatest gift they’ll get this year is life
Where nothing ever grows
No rain nor rivers flow
Do they know it’s Christmas time at all?
Here’s to you
Raise a glass for everyone
Spare a thought this yuletide for the deprived
If the table was turned would you survive
Here’s to them
Underneath that burning sun
You ain’t gotta feel guilt just selfless
Give a little help to the helpless
Do they know it’s Christmas time at all?
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Let them know it’s Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it’s Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it’s Christmas time again
Feed the world
Let them know it’s Christmas time again
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world

Good afternoon, got the wrapping paper out today and did my gifts for the mail lady, hairdresser and newspaper carrier.🎁 Other than something unexpected, that should be it for my wrapping. All other gifts are in bags, money or gift cards.
You are right, mom was on the move today. She had my sister take her to Kohl’s so she could use her 40% and Kohl’s cash. It must have been burning a hole in her purse!🔥
BIL better today, had a good night’s sleep, took a shower and washed his hair. They are setting up his dialysis for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Hope he gets home next week. Thanks so much for the beautiful prayer.💖🙏

Simplifying Your Schedule
Simplifying your schedule and busyness of the day may be crucial to avoid burnout.
For many, life is a hodgepodge of never-ending commitments. Yet few of us can be truly healthy or happy without regular periods of downtime. While there is nothing inherently wrong with busyness, those of us who over-commit or over-extend ourselves potentially face exhaustion and burnout. When you feel overwhelmed by your commitments, examining your motivation for taking on so many obligations can help you understand why you feel compelled to do so much. You may discover that you are being driven by fear that no one else will do the job or guilt that you aren’t doing enough. To regain your equilibrium and clear the clutter from your calendar, simplify your life by establishing limits regarding what you will and will not do based on your personal priorities.
Determining where your priorities lie can be as easy as making two lists: one that outlines all those obligations that are vital to your wellbeing, such as work, meditation, and exercise, and another that describes everything you do that is not directly related to your wellbeing. Although there will likely be items in the latter list that excite your passion or bring you joy, you may discover that you devote a large portion of your time to unnecessary activities. To simplify your schedule, consider which of these unnecessary activities add little value to your life and edit them from your agenda. Remember that you may need to ask for help, say no firmly, or delegate responsibility in order to distance yourself from such encumbrances. However, as you divest yourself of non-vital obligations that cause you stress, serve no purpose, or rob you of opportunities to refresh yourself, you will feel more energetic and enthusiastic about life in general.
If simplifying your schedule seems prohibitively difficult and you still feel pressed to take on more, try imagining how each new commitment will impact your life before saying yes. When you consider the hassle associated with superfluous obligations, you may be surprised to see that your schedule is impeding your attempts to grow as an individual. Your willingness to pare down your agenda, no matter how gradual your progress, will empower you to retake active control of the life that defines you. AMEN! ✨✨
