Woke up to rains so didn’t go far today. When it rains here, look out because people can’t seem to drive. I heard a loud thud and thought my husband was by the trash cans, but no, it was an accident behind my house. Luckily no injuries. Cars still there on the side. I still heard sirens today. Oh we had a leak in the bedroom by the sliding doors. Good thing my husband is a Mr. Fix it. Tomorrow I will venture back out.

You are very fortunate to have a place to go during inclement weather. Unfortunately too many people do nothing. They often think nothing will happen in their town, in their city, in their neighborhood. But things do happen. Going down to a basement may help some, but having a place below ground may help even more. Having shelter within your home is the best case scenario. Today, I do not think anyone is safe from Tornadoes, cyclones, hurricanes, etc.. We should learn from the past so our future is better and safer. I also feel the desperation, the hurt and the unknown from people who lost everything. Back North there are people who have trucks and load them and leave for the crisis areas when they cannot fit one more morsel in the back. So sad. Especially, just days before Christmas.

Had my hair done today and I must say it looks rather spiffy. It is starting to grow and thicken nicely. Best of all Hubby gave me two thumbs up. Feels good to do something for yourself now and then.

It was so nice talking to the lady in the car next to mine. It was if an angel came down and told her to let me know that the doctor we have knows what he is doing. We shall see what next week brings. I will also ask about medication that would help with the pain. However one thing he should mention is that the knee gives way every now and then. I’m just afraid if there isn’t anything to hang on to when out and about he could fall and cause major whatever.

You will be happy to know that I cleared an entire counter area, small that it is, in the kitchen. I just washed the area and I will use the Lysol towels before seeing where everything will go. One thing for sure is that I no longer want a cluttered mess.

Congratulations on your last doctor’s visit. Are you through with this one forever or do you return next year? To help I saw a magnificent white cloud on the way to Aldi’s this afternoon and it had a silver lining going right through it. Simply majestic. Hope it means that everything will be OK and we can go out and about as if nothing happened.

The Gulf coast was cloudy today. Actually, it was low hanging fog that kept the sun out until the afternoon. We do need some rain and hope it will come soon, but not all at once. I hear the kitchen calling my name, so it’s on to that adventure. Cannot wait to take the Ninja out of the box. Also cannot wait to purchase all the goodies for the smoothies. Oh, before I forget, Aldi’s did not have any dragon fruit. geezzzzzz. No papaya either and also no mangos. Blueberries were over $3 a pint. Prices are going up. No bananas and no pineapple. Farmer’s Market here we come.

Ran out early this morning because I decided to get a gift for me. I normally don’t shop at all in December but I wanted a new pair of athletic shoes. Found a comfy pair, cute colors of light gray and pink. Before you say it, yes, I have a couple other new pairs from my working days but one is all white and the other all black. I wanted something a little more modern and colorful.👟👟

As of today, BIL to be discharged next Monday with a dialysis schedule. So he will be home for Christmas 🤞 and my SIL won’t have to keep running back and forth.🙏 All I can say is I hope.

Husband going to hockey game tonight so I will toast your good health with whatever I decided to have while watching the game.🏒🥂 Love you!💗
