Hi and a good evening to you and hubby. Nothing like chicken soup for that cold with a bunch of veggies. Hope he feels better tomorrow. Manuka honey helps as well and some ginger tea with turmeric.

Tomorrow we will be signing a contract with the construction firm. After this there will either be a phone call or an e-mail stating approximately when the work will begin. I will be contacting our electrician to see if he can bring the electrical outlets back to life in the lanai so the men can use their tools.

Sometime this week I will be purchasing a nice gift for our neighbor. I did not try the food because of the sulfite problem, but hubby said it was OK. He enjoyed the desserts.

Hope Charlie is OK and his family is keeping him inside for now. Maybe they finally realized that it just maybe too cold to let him out.

After much searching I think I finally found a bed rail. For the last few days or maybe longer I kept thinking that a 30″ rail would be good. But, I needed one that could be shorter if you wish. Maneuvering in and out of bed was another question. There was one that could fold down by pressing a button. Hmm…..if he falls and touches that button it could cause more injuries. I found one that answered all my concerns. It has comfort zones for the hands. It also is belted to the other side of the bed so that it is secure. Most importantly, it may come in handy when or if he has the knee reconstruction. Best of all, if there is any part missing or just doesn’t work, it can be returned. Seems most of the medical sights do not have a return policy.

Good luck this week on your appointments. As far as Colorado goes, please check the weather before leaving Oz. I will be doing the same going North. Dread the DC area and going over the George W. .and then driving in the Bronx. Roads are narrow. Just thinking about it gives me shivers.

Hello Sheba, I am sorry to hear your hubby is not feeling well. A cold, flu this time of year or any time interferes in the day to day routine. I am one of those that hates to be sick and behave just like children😆 Give him lots of liquids along with vitamins C and D. I am no doctor, but check with whom you need to see if he can take those two vitamins.
I hope your hubby feels better soon.

and hubby and my nephew traveled all over Europe.

One of my sisters spent two weeks in Amsterdam and had the time of her life. 💕🌹

When all this stuff is cleared up I am going to put on my traveling shoes and just go. 😎✨
