Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 17 out of the series. I created and started this thread nearly 8 years
ago. I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I see you are also watching the Covid thing, as if we don’t have enough on our plate. But, now I am really concern. In just a few weeks your mom and sis are scheduled to fly and to be on a cruise ship. I am not going to tell you to have them cancel, but, it they have not already done so, it may be a good time to take on the extra cost of the Insurance that the cruise offers. That way, they are protected in case they cancel. However, the way things look now, the ship may have no other alternative but to cancel the trip. I am watching what the Royal Caribbean is doing since they limped back to Miami with 48 reported with Covid. Ok with over 3000 (probably more like 6000) that’s not alot. However, those passengers not affected may have to quarantine themselves upon arrival home. This is just a thought, but I do worry and also concerned with your mom. Also, please check on the flights when they are ready to make reservations. Quite a few cancel within hours of departing. For your info, the rates are quite low because of the pandemic. You probably can get a flight to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale starting at $48 one way.
Yes, I will be getting the booster. I do not wish to take any chances even though I am vaccinated and had that virus. I still do not know when my Mam appointment is next month so I will be stopping at that office when hubby has his orthopedic appointment since they are in the same building, just on different floors.
I will check on “The Wizard” for tonight. Thanks for the heads up. Be safe. All of you.

So sorry I didn’t get back to you last night. I fell sound asleep and woke up the first time around 11pm. Gave hubby his pills and took mine as well and then sat down again thinking I would be completing what I started. No, nothing accomplished. I fell sound asleep with clothes on and all and awoke at 4am because the “library” was calling. Guess I hit the sack, this time for real, around 5am. Awoke at 9:30am.
Today started out quite sunny and warm with no humidity. Around 11am the clouds rolled in and that is the way it has been all day. We are expecting a good rain chance this evening beginning at midnight with wind. Tomorrow thunder storms are in the forecast and some could be severe. Tonight I will leave the TV on just in case. Tomorrow are our doctor appointments and I am now looking for our rain jackets. Umbrellas are in the van. The orthopedist appointment is the next day. I surmise it will be sweater weather since a cold front is expected. This will be our only rain chance for awhile.
Though both of us were in pain today, we did accomplish some things. I was able to drop off a package to UPS as a return. I was the only one in there. Couldn’t believe it. We made a stop at Aldi’s and then could not wait to return home. Hubby’s knee and my back were making a bit of shopping quite difficult. I now have a gift for my hairdresser and I sent some fruit baskets to both neighbors taking care of our home North. I also sent something to the hotel I stayed at while hubby was in the hospital and re-hab. The owner and the people at the front desk went over and above to make my stay comfortable. I just wish I had the address of the driver from Lyft who took me back and forth from the hotel to the rehab (32 miles round trip each day). By the way, traffic was a parking lot (all 8 lanes. I am including those going east and west on a State road).
I can just feel how cold you are in Oz. Maybe it’s time you call in the Wizard for help and advice. Oh here is something that will warm your heart. Tomorrow will be the shortest day. After that, it is all up hill to longer days.
Have a great evening and stay safe.

Just got home from an afternoon with mom and sis at the nail salon. My toes are all set for no one to see, lol!👣 I am not going to any holiday parties with everything going around. Yes, I just heard on the news as I’m writing this that our hockey game for tomorrow is cancelled.🏒 There are at least six teams that will cancel games until after Christmas. Also, the NFL.🏈 I hate to be pessimistic but things are getting bad again, wait until January.😪 I also heard that the flu shot may not be that great this time either because of the strain.💉 I know, I’m just full of good news.
We will not have snow for Christmas, yay! My sister hasn’t driven in snow for 40 years so we will all be able to make it to the restaurant. Not sure what’s up yet for Christmas day with my husband’s family, I will have to wait to hear on my BIL. He is due home tonight.
Guess what’s on tonight – The Wizard of Oz!!✨💗 Let’s sing and dance together and have fun.🤣 Blowing kisses to you and Poppy.

Send Healing To Yourself
So often we are busy sending love and healing to others, that we forget to send healing to ourselves.
Most people, when given an opportunity to aid someone in need, are eager to do whatever they can to be of service. Those of us who have chosen to make healing the world a vocation are grateful for any occasion to send light and love to people in our immediate spheres of influence and beyond. As we apply our passion and our principles to this altruistic endeavor, we often forget to send ourselves the same bountiful gifts of wellness, though we ourselves may be in dire need of it. We overlook ourselves, not because we forget, but because we fear that focusing on the self is an indicator of selfishness. It is moreover much more difficult to heal oneself than to heal others because the seeds of uncertainty are more easily banished when we act on another’s behalf. When we send healing light to ourselves, it is important that our intentions and our self-trust be stronger than ever to counteract doubt.
As we bless ourselves in this way, we serve as both an active channel and a passive destination. This should not change the way we interact with the valuable energy we wish to receive, however. Though we may be tempted to consciously direct or influence the manner in which light impacts our lives because we know ourselves most intimately, we should not try to control its path. When we draw the white light of protection and purity to our bodies, taking it into ourselves with each inhalation, our belief in the fact that it will naturally move toward areas of dysfunction will ensure that it flows through every muscle and organ. And when we fill our spaces with this light, our environments are cleared of all the negative energy that can sap our strength and our spirit. Surrounded inside and out with healing light, we feel safe and protected, healthy, relaxed, and content just as those who regularly receive such loving gifts from us do.
If you sincerely believe that there is a part of yourself that exists independently of upset and illness, the love and light you send yourself will help you connect with it. You will see the affirmative impact of this connection almost immediately when you include yourself in the recipients of your healing gifts, as life’s frustrations become more tolerable and your bliss becomes ever more palpable. AMEN! ✨✨

@Sheba,
Good Afternoon Sheba 🌲🌲🌲🌲 and Buon Natale.
I hope you and your husband are well and enjoying your Christmas week. I started my Panettone baking. The house smells so good. I first made an home-made essence of Panettone. With water, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, star anise, sugar, cognac, orange juice and zest, lemon zest and at the end add vanilla extract. Now the sponge is being made, after I write this I will check on it. The first part of the dough will rest in the fridge overnight.
Yesterday I caught the the very last part of “Christmas Under The Stars” with Lauren Daigle. However it is going to be shown again on the 24th at 6:18PM on BYUH, TV. After her the Pentatonix.
They also have with John Legend on the 21st at 8:30PM . Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith and Jordan Smith on the 23rd at 7:00PM.
Have a great Afternoon Sheba and take care 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲 -
