A good afternoon Oodie to you and your husband. Thank you for your post on Chestnuts. I hope Mr. Oodiebom is doing well today with no pain. And you are resting some .
You said Chestnuts are similar to Walnuts, I have baked a cookie with Walnuts. I am posting the original recipe but you can change anything such as flour replace it with oat flour, replace the sugar etc. ❄❄❄❄❄❄❄ I hope you and your husband have a wonderful weekend and are enjoying the Holidays Season. Baki’s Old-World Cookies

This Recipe is from Taste of Home

1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup sugar. 2 large eggs room temperature. 1 cup ground walnuts. 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1 teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoons vanilla.    Confectioners’ sugar for sprinkling.
I also added 1 teaspoon of Nutmeg

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add nuts. In another bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon and cloves; add with vanilla to creamed mixture. Refrigerate, covered, for 1 hour. Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Fill 36 generously greased muffin cups or individual 3-in. tins one-third to half full. Press dough around sides, leaving a depression in center. (If dough is too soft, add flour.)Bake until light brown, about 18 minutes. Cool 2 minutes; tap tins to remove cookies. Dust with confectioners’ sugar.

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast. ✨✨Oz is very nice today which means it’s not
freezing. 😜

I was surprised we had no questions on Trivia I think we all made the best of it. 😎

I was playing some of the games and I am almost at a milestone.

Oodie how are you today? Is the medicine working for your husband? I hope you both
can relax today. I am taking treats to neighbors that I am close to. I have few who are
out of town so I am looking out for the homes. This is a close knit neighborhood. ✨

I am going two doors down to my friend and neighbor I’ve been doing this for twenty
years. I am just doing a very short visit they have a house full of peeps and that is too much
for me.

These pooches are Iris Apfel and they are so cute. I think they want you to wave at them. 😜✨
