I am always pleased to see a discount for using the HSN app, and I look forward to seeing more. I can understand there might be some folks not comfortable with shopping using the phone app, or don’t have smartphones, etc. We all make choices about what suits us (and our budgets) the best.
Personally, I am not comfortable with the idea of using the HSN credit card, so I don’t, and I miss out on the discounts and such offered to cardholders. But that’s my choice not to use it; I certainly don’t begrudge those who choose to use the HSN credit card from getting their discounts. More coupons for everyone would be great, but if HSN finds value in promoting their app by offering the occasional coupon for its use, I hope they continue to do so.

I spent several minutes looking through my Roku apps the other day, wondering where the Shop From Remote app had gone. Sorry to see it go since the QVC and HSN Roku app seems to lack some basic functionality, such as being able to search and view videos for specific items, and seeing a running list of the items previously aired.

I’ve been frustrated by this also. Because selecting the SORT BY “Newest” option includes all of the “As Is” and “Sold Out” items, it becomes a chore to find the latest items added. Although we can select “New” in the filters section, I don’t find that ideal because I’d prefer to view the entire list, in order, without the “As Is” and “Sold Out” which are of no interest to me at all.

I’ve noticed the prices going up on new DG2 items, so many items over $70! For me, this means I am much less likely to buy on impulse, just because I see something I like. I am happy though, to see a good variety of items available on clearance at reasonable prices.

I would really like to see silicone handles on his cookware also. I have the 14″ multi-purpose dura-pan and find it excellent for use on my induction cooktop, but there is no way I would purchase an entire set of cookware without handles with some sort of heat protection – and I agree, purchasing removable covers is not an adequate substitute. From what I’ve heard mentioned in presentations there seems to be an emphasis on being able to also put the pans in the oven, but that does not matter to me at all. I want the cookware I use on my stove to have handles designed as comfortable and safe to use as possible.

I’ve always enjoyed checking out the latest offerings from my favorite vendors, such as DG2 and Joan Boyce, by selecting to view all the items sorted by Newest, or sorted by Price low to high. It would be helpful not to have to sift through As Is and Sold Out items – it’s a waste of my time since I have no interest in seeing these. A filter for Hide As-is and Soldout would certainly make the shopping experience more pleasant for me and more likely that I’ll find something to purchase.
