Just curious: Why do they sing about a FABRIC???? Saw Gravel several times…..too loud and way too expensive. Guess I missed all that singing?!

I agree with both your posts. Bobbie Ray was certainly deserving of a much better farewell party than they gave her. Selling items???? No, that was in very bad taste. Just wish her much happiness in whatever her future may be. Also, many other vendors were missing that she had presented their products over the years.

I’m just really curious, please tell us who the host was. What did Paul do when she continued to sing? So many hosts now dance (QVC), maybe she figured if they can dance then I can sing??

Macy’s sells Democracy clothes. Perhaps they don’t show as much of this brand since it is available in retail stores?

I use Prai serums and creams. Have tried other brands, but never had the same wonderful results I get with Prai. Of course, the fact that their products are cruelty free is another plus for me. BTW, I’m 80, never had any cosmetic surgery, and I’m sure I never will!!!!

I don’t know if the hosts still do this, but it was a common practice to state the easy pay amount as the full price of the item. Now if ever there were deceitful sales tactics, that sure was one. Did they finally stop doing this???

Jamie, the QVC model (and she previously modeled for Shop HQ,) is the essence of true perfection when it comes to modeling clothes, Her smile is infectious, she moves with such grace and you can really get a good look at what she is wearing. Perhaps she could give the new HSN models some tips on how to present an outfit while smiling and enjoying the outfit????

I’m curious, are these new hosts given a “test” as to how they present themselves and the products? Guess I’m thinking about an audition, or are they hired on the basis of their previous employment? I wish all of the new hosts a much better and comfortable “on air” self as the new year begins.

What a lovely post, Karen. I hope Kim does see this. I have watched her hosting several shows and I agree…..she is informative, never interrupts the vendor and talks slowly! Wish some of the other hosts at HSN and QVC would do the same.

The reviews weren’t too good, in spite of the demos. In fact some reviewers said the “dust” made their hair feel dirty….that’s why I passed on it.

I wonder how many shoppers were duped into thinking that easy pay amount was the full price? Returns are a hassle….buyers be ware!!!!

Has anyone noticed how much Bobby Ray and Adrienne look alike? Twins separated at birth? Just kidding, but I had not seen Bobby in quite a while and was astonished how much they look alike, including hair styles.

Thanks mndreamer, I will also try that before I buy any new foundation. Ebay had a ton of Estee Lauder foundations, but I would imagine the expirations were pretty close, if not past their dates.

Thanks, Sharon. for the info. Would I be better off to try a neutral next time? I have strawberry blonde hair, very fair skin and blue eyes. I never used Doll 10, some of Adrianne’s foundation were too dark.
