Thanks for all the great ideas on finding that “perfect” foundation you nice ladies have given me. I will update when I finally find the right choice. Have a wonderful week.

I agree! And another observation I would like to add….please stop the HSN hosts from doing the modeling! Some of them twirl and “dance” while they watch themselves in the monitor. Why have the professional models if the hosts are going to steal the spotlight (which I think they are trying to do)???? Not all the HSN hosts do this, but it is becoming more and more obvious.

I have to wonder how true designers such as Iman, for example, feel about all these HSN hosts having a clothing line with their names on them? I have a hard time believing that these clothes have been designed by those hosts. Just asking! I agree, Colleen’s clothes were/are not good. I actually returned some and learned my lesson.

Wasn’t that a class act? Rather than have so much speculation about his relationships, Andrew made the decision to personally explain what is going on. Thanks, Andrew! No wonder you and your products are so well liked!

What a lovely, friendly post…..Thank you, Lady4Peace! Yes, this HSN Community Forum can, in many ways, be very helpful in deciding whether to make a purchase or not. Some posters can be less than “friendly”, but they are quickly called out for being snarky and nasty. Some of the hosts are often discussed both in positive and negative ways. However, wouldn’t they, (the hosts) want to know the viewers’ opinions on their presentations and selling abilities? We all have our own favorite hosts, and those who we simply don’t watch. Have a wonderful day, and keep viewing these forums….they keep things interesting!!!

I also noticed that most of the hosts, including Bobbie Ray and Amy, talk so darn fast! I’m a senior, and I get exhausted just listening to them presenting an item! Please slow down so we can fully understand what you are saying about the products you are encouraging us to buy. Generally, I go to the HSN web site and review the items before I make a purchase….can’t keep up with all these fast talkers.

Lydia, I so agree with you! The only host that I believe is a “petite” would be Michelle Yarn. I was able to purchase several tops after seeing her model them, and how they would look on me. I hope HSN does feature more petite sizes, so many regular sizes are much too long and don’t fit right.

This is just a suggestion, Bobbie has a new shoe show on every Tues. at either 10 or 11 am. The shoes you’re looking for might be presented, especially if they are new products. Good luck finding them!

The fragrance she created in honor of her love for David Bowie is absolutely beautiful. I “collect” perfumes and Iman’s is one of my favorites. It is truly a very romantic scent.

Thank you, jmc1365, for those lovely Mother’s Day wishes. I hope the pain you will feel on that day will be eased by memories of happy, joyful times you and your Mom shared over the years.

Has anyone noticed how much Bobby Ray and Adrienne look alike? Twins separated at birth? Just kidding, but I had not seen Bobby in quite a while and was astonished how much they look alike, including hair styles.

Thanks mndreamer, I will also try that before I buy any new foundation. Ebay had a ton of Estee Lauder foundations, but I would imagine the expirations were pretty close, if not past their dates.

Thanks, Sharon. for the info. Would I be better off to try a neutral next time? I have strawberry blonde hair, very fair skin and blue eyes. I never used Doll 10, some of Adrianne’s foundation were too dark.

I think this is the bottom line, as jmc1365 perfectly expressed it. Amy most likely does use a lot of the products she presents on the Beauty Report, but those products do not give the same results as cosmetic surgeries do. We all know that. This is not a personal attack on Amy, just that we HSN customers do recognize when a host has had work done. It’s a tough business. I just hope a lot of upkeep isn’t in her/their futures. I wish the best for Amy.
