The Hydrangea plant that I bought last year has one bloom appearing. I am thrilled it lived a year and hope it will start to really grow. I do have a 2nd one and if it lives will plant it soon. My blooms are pink. Still congested and a bit sick. Taking it easy and stayed in for the last 3 days. Glad you like Brentwood but if you go please don’t take your valuables. Just check the news and you’ll understand what I mean.
Have you or anyone you know hiked The Camino de Santiago? I am trying to talk my hubs into it but he isn’t crazy about the idea. My son said a woman where he works did it and she’s old like me. haha, actually she is a decade younger. All ages can do it though. Maybe Ms. Heidi will want to get her groupies to to it, oh i mean a group. haha. It looks fun to me. Why have I never heard of these things in my younger years? Well, guess I was busy working.

Oodie. thank you for the information about the ts pots. Please keep me posted on how they wear once being used. Just about everything is made in China. I get temu adds when playing the games here at HSN, and i do not plan to order from them.
You mentioned water issues and I wanted to let you know that quite a few years ago our water smelled heavily chlorinated. Whenever they work on the water system here, apparently they load it up with chlorine.
I bring a reusable water bottle when I hike (not the famous Stanley’s, guess i am not cool enough haha) and upon opening would smell the chlorine. We decided to filter the water dispenser on the refrigerator/freezer and I also bought a PUR Pitcher. The pitcher is easy to use and you can refill it easily. You also need to buy the purifier refills at any retail store. Maybe you have seen them, but if you have not it may help you. We also test our water and both filters work well.

Florida sounds so hot. We know some people who want to move there and one family that did quite a few years ago. Like you and Oodie, sure hope Xango is ok.

Sheba, We had a nice day here and I went to a birthday lunch with 2 friends and then later hiked.

We had a sunny day here. Yesterday on my way down the trail a rattler was across the path and blended in perfectly with the rocks. I had to back track up and down another path. It’s ok I didn’t mind. It just wouldn’t budge. Today I saw another one; it’s the season and they will be sun bathing.

Sheba, yes, agree this is a huge vast State. Some have suggested it be divided into 2 States, North and South. Your N CA relatives may have already told you about it. Well, nice you like Brentwood but it’s probably changed like most of So CA. People are afraid to even wear their wedding rings….
I like to hike fairly close by, makes it easier otherwise I would join the gym.

Sheba, no worries. I thought it was funny because hubs is still a bit tired from it. Sounds like lots of April Showers in May for Oz. We have been overcast and cool here. Today, and all week so far, I hiked back at the location where I had the close encounter. with a big ole cat. Now I go where most people are throughout the day and where the dog walkers go to avoid any surprises, No guarantee but far so good.

Sheba, Hope you get a break from the rain soon. How is the air? I hear the fires from Canada are causing issues there. Haha not 4 miles, the actual trail was 4 hours, at some points they had to carry bikes over boulders. I can’t do that type of ride as it’s too long, hot, and cliffy. They were very tired. Sheba, Mothers Day was nice, and quiet. I can’t go out to eat with the crowds and enjoyed a nice day home and hiking. Hope your Mothers Day was a great one.
I don’t know how you sort the food for the cats from the raccoons from the coyotes and other critters. Maybe you will be feeding the forest soon.
My husband and son went on a long bike ride today. The bike trail was about 4 hours. They had to go now as it gets too hot to go very soon.

Oodie, hope you see this. The PT and OC were not live-in’s. They were by appt and sometimes came without appts if in the area. Great people.
Hopefully someone at the rehab will have some idea’s, maybe even patients or their relatives?
We also used a visiting nurse but it’s hard to find or impossible, especially if you live in an area with lots of retirees.
