Sheba, really lovely images. We watched some relays today and enjoyed it. Hubs and I are still trying to figure out the trip. We reversed it recently due to airport access. I heard about the Brazilian Plan crash on the radio earlier today. Very sad.
Hope Poppy enjoyed his Spa day and that you enjoyed your walk. -
Sheba, Glad you’re doing a bit better today. The place my parents are buried (out of state) has a service to clean and place decor every 3 months. My Mother wanted it so I’ve been doing this ever since. Yes, to the latter but still deciding on the plan.
The hurricane dropped so much water. Oodie said things were all overflowing in FL. Sounds dangerous. Glad your family is safe in GA. -
Oodie, A while back I watched some videos about moving to Florida. Storms and Insurance coverage along with the heat, humidity and roads were mentioned. Insurance scammers really make it hard for Insurance companies too. Around this area, people get dropped left and right due to possible fire. Hubs elderly parents live in an area that had a fire very close and were almost evacuated. Their Insurance jumped like you mentioned but they shopped around and were able to cut that amount in half. Still high though.
Xango has some good suggestions. I never knew about medivac’s and pods. Back in the day we had moving trucks moving us. Hope it works out for you and hubs to get to MA soon. -
Sheba, Hope and Poppy had a good walk today. Glad someone’s weather is cooling down.
Hubs and I are planning our trip and our son will join for a week at the end since he works.
He will leave for a trip at the end of the month for a week. He is going to the same place we will begin our trip (He gave us the idea).
Watching some water sports today. They have been my favorite. -
Oodie, I did see your post about flying and Storm Debbie. Florida really has a lot of heat and rain and storms in general. So many people moved there too. I watched some weather news on TV and hope you and hubs stay safe. Maybe you and hubs are ready for some MA weather and a lovely Autumn there. You have been in FL a long time. Do you think you will return to FL once you head North? Wishing you and hubs the best.
Understand how you feel about flying. It’s really changed over time too. -

Sheba, Hope your Birthday was fun! I know you are missing your Dad.
Planning a vacation here isn’t too fun here 🙁 . We stress for different reasons. I get anxiety about the airport and flights since it’s not pleasant and I hope I am proven wrong any time :). I’m trying to strategize not getting sick. Safe is best though so I’m always happy to make it there and back.
It’s been hot and my tomato plants are not too happy. Sometimes I want to put umbrella’s over some plants. -
Sheba,
***************** Wishing you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
******Hope you have a great day!!!🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰🍾🍰 -
Sheba, good Sunday to you and your crew as well, Poppy and your hubs. I didn’t do too much either because it was too hot. I’ll wash and cut up some veggies for the week ahead soon (maybe) and fold one load of laundry. Thanks for all the birthday well wishes and fun pictures.
Hubs bought me some lovely orange colored roses.
We are starting to plan a vacation for the fall so if I don’t post in 6 or 8 weeks you know why.Hope you are looking forward to tomorrow, you know….. the 5th!

Shoelady, Thank you for the birthday wishes. No cooking, went out to luch at a Fish place and had many sips of hubs beer, which must have been strong. Son drove us home 🙂
Hope you have a great weekend! -
Sheba, Thank you for the cake and birthday wishes. We went out to a late lunch and then I got some exercise. For me, a fun day!
Your next….. 🍾 -
Sheba, and so do you! 🙂
Are these power outages normal in OZ when there are storms? Do you need generators on hand? Sounds like a lot of storms going through. July is going out strong. -
Sheba, Sorry your power went out. 2 Hours is a long time especially when it’s hot.
Good thing your cold water is actually cold. Since I have lived in S. CA , the cold water has been lukewarm. No cold or icy cold water out of the faucets. No cold showers. I miss that about the mid-west. -
Sheba, it’s coffee! Tired of the rest listed.
