Sheba, Hope you are having a great day in Oz. I saw your note from last night. I wash my hands often, clean often in the house, wipe gym equipment down before and after and then sanitize my hands. I guess if around someone who is sick it’s inevitable it will spread. A friend told me her son and gf went to Disneyland and came back with Covid. I was at a large luncheon last week and possibly caught it there. None of the people i know caught anything. Oh I donated a HD USA pin and clear star earrings to the raffle.
It’s a good thing I cleaned upstairs after my son left. It’s all clean and ready for his return. HUbs is replacing the bathroom light fixture upstairs. Everything rusts like crazy here. I really like this new light, hope it lasts.

Sheba, Hello. Hope you are having a good Labor Day weekend!
Well, i had a little fever and sore throat, and didn’t think much about it until hubs told me I better take a covid test. I did and yah, it was positive. I will test again tomorrow. What a pain.
Looking forward to seeing Ms. Heid Daus this week! Guess I will be home 🙂

Oodie, Hello. I too will take some of that drink (haha). Glad you are ok. from the yogurt.
I think we all do better when home so hope it works out for your hubs to get home. Wanted to let you know that I use a counter top pitcher with a water filtration plug in it. I think it’s called Purr. Mine is from Home Depot, but Wallmart and lots of other stores have them in all sorts of varieties. Maybe it will help even if you boil the water? Hubs also put a water filter on the water dispenser (from the freezer side) of our refrigerator.

Thanks for the advice. I will take it. I still have a supply of masks, and clorox wipes.

Guess what? Tonight I tested positive for Covid. Can’t believe it. I’ll be isolating for 10 days here at home and we leave soon after. Guess I will have lots of time to pack.

Sheba, 90 degrees in Oz is hot. Doesn’t your weather know it’s almost September and to cool down? It’s been warmer than usual here by day but cools nicely at night. Pretty good morning post, and love the colors. I like the new set from Heidi Daus that you purchased! Hubs is getting ready so early that it makes me do the same. We found a place outside of our medical provider to get both the flu and covid vaccines, by appt only.

Oodie, sorry about your water situation. Wow, sounds terrible.

I’ll take your wise advice about the airplane ride. We always get sick, i think because they cool the plane way down (which I understand is needed for health reasons) and then people around me start coughing due to the dry air. We plan 2-3 days down time each way. This time we will take 2 flights, (my request to hubs), with 2 short stops so i can get out of the plane. Hopefully, it will be a bit more pleasant.

Hope you’re doing well after that scare. Brightly colored clothes sound smart. I want to get a bright yellow travel umbrella. I’ve been working on the itinerary, and just when I was almost done hubs added an overnight stay at a train station stop. Oh well…

We dropped our son off at the airport today and since we were downtown decided to go over the Bridge to Coronado. It was very busy both in downtown SD and over the Bridge.
Still a nice day! I will need to go to bed early.

Sheba, we both hope to get those vaccines which are available at the local drug stores, so I think hubs will pay for his. I’m waiting a bit longer.

We have some aqua colored tiles around our fireplaces. It came like that so it was original to the house.

Planning isn’t too bad just takes some time.
