Sheba, It’s great that you are so accomplished and yes, you should be proud of your hard work and success. And I’m proud of you too! Kudos. Your career sounds fun and exciting and yes involved lots of hard work.
The women I saw walking on the stoney hard sidewalk in their very spikey heels and walking at a snails pace looked in a bit of pain and I don’t think they cared. Each had a Channel bag as well. It was so fun for me to see the sidewalk/train fashion. You and Oodie were talking about Heidi’s latest items (and without me 🙂 Just kidding). I saw that huge Greek Key set and wow. At 1st I thought it was multiple necklaces stacked but oh no. Maybe Oodie will get it.
I wore Heidi’s snake earrings (love) to two concerts and they worked great for me.
Sadly, my luck was not as good with the gold plated Rarities earrings (with the turq set in it).
One earring broke at the connector after the 3rd wear. I really like them but was quoted about $70. to fix it, so hubs will try to drill and wire something up for me. For the price the joint should have been made stronger. So yah, my last Rarities purchase. But I do love em. -
Sheba, Is this the neighbor who had the accident in Greece? Hubs and I were chatting about how we have not been to Spain. Many great places to travel. Sorry about my confusion. I have been wanting to sleep at about 5pm pst which is about 11pm for me. I just need another week.
We were in Italy, Austria and Poland. By coincidence, it was fashion week in Milan and wow did I see “fashion in the wild”. Spikey heels, iridescent Channel bags and the new ones just released. Long thin legs that go on forever. That was just walking around. I was in jeans and sneakers….. lol.
Did you do anything like that when you modeled?

Sheba, thanks! Look at you and all your awesome tests. Couldn’t be happier for you! Yes, when we settle in I want to hear all about your neighbors trip to Spain. Getting back in my time zone will take a while. Glad your niece avoided any flying issues. We were lucky as well. One flight delayed on the way back due to high winds so not so bad.
Hi Oodie, sounds like things are moving along with your remodel.

Sheba, Hello. I know I’ve missed lots here and hope to find you all well.
Thanks for saving me a place. So thoughtful of you.
I’m trying to adjust back to the time zone which makes for some very early mornings 🙂 -
Sheba, sign me up!

Sheba, Maybe Heidi and I will cross paths. I have a feeling she was on a plane I was on in Germany several years ago. Spain sounds like a great destination.
Sorry about your nephews accident and your daughters best friend with clots.
Blood clots in some one so young is so unexpected. Does she have a desk job? Hopefully the medical staff will guide her on avoiding them in the future. Things are happening to the younger people like never before. Hope it changes.
We had another very hot and humid day. Our air conditioning has been on straight for what seems like months. Glad we have solar as it really helps with the costs. -
Oodie, Enjoy your new necklace. Looks fabulous!
Haven’t heard of the Sandwich Glass Museum and looked it up. It looks like a nice place to spend a day. And I would love to spend some time on the Cape. -
Sheba, ha wished that was how my luggage all looked. I’m sure your luggage and clothes are stunning. We do carry on only and honing and prepping is a lot for me. I’m almost done. Basically we pack for 1 – 1/2 weeks and do laundry there. Wherever there may be. That’s how we learned about the lack of dryers as a norm in many places. They all have places to hang laundry which is great.
Today I had some labs and then drove in the others direction to attempt a Covid vax. It was mission successful but once I got home read the information and realized the guidelines for the vax changed. oh, well…. they didnt’ show me that beforehand. lol. All good though.
Whats new in your part of Oz? -
Shoelady, funny footprints on the walk of fame. It’s going to happen…

Sad…. RIP.

Oodie, thanks for your Cape post. It sounds so nice, especially having bike path access.
Going to the beach here has the same parking issues. Makes it not so fun to deal with but most times it works out. Best with your remodel project too. -
Sheba, it makes me smile to look at the dog ad for Fefe. Dogs have certainly come a long way since my childhood. Poppy will love it!
Hoping to get a Covid vaccines before I go but not sure it will happen.
Sounds like a Steak House visit may be in your future! -
Sheba, Nice pallet. The one I purchased was the Romance name – day and evening colors. They seem so pretty. Not sure they are the colors the woman from my make up class would pick for me but I know they can work :).
While in the store I also saw a Dolce & Gabbana Fefe perfume. Yes, for dogs. You may not be surprised but I was and took a picture to send out. It was an adorable display. Maybe a little something for Poppy for Christmas. LOL. -
Sheba, glad they are both doing well. I’m trying to pack, little tasks each day. Today, I got a travel size mascara, and some other small travel size bits. Oh and a Anastasia eye shadow pallet that is a beauty.
Thanks for the fashion show. Everyone looked very stylish. I like to hear about Oodie at the Cape too.
