Sheba, the flowers look lovely, and yellow is one of my favorite colors, although I don’t ever wear it. Growing up, I had a yellow carpet and yellow and cream a Thomasville furniture set.
The bedspread and curtains were green with butterflies. Yup, the 70’s! Great for fun fashion and back then I had a pair of yellow stretch pants with a rainbow waistband, bell bottoms too. It’s so fun!
Yes, those Polish Paczki look so good. The Poles know how to eat.
Sorry you had a power outage. I know you can deal with it but it’s not too convenient.
We had some rain here late afternoon and it will be on and off throughout the night.

Sheba, crazy day! Those Paczi look delicious. I don’t recall seeing those around. We tried Perogi, Potato Pancake dish, beets and beet soup. Now I have to go back 🙂
Glad you were able to get out with Poppy.
I had some yard work to do. Tried to remove a fruit tree that never grew. Most of it is gone but I might need hubs to help later.

Sheba, son is busy working and thinking about his next trip abroad.
We always learn so much from his travels. We went to Poland because of him and it was one of the best vacations for us all and we hope to go back.
On the hike today I thought I spotted a Coyote on the path ahead and it was moving quickly towards me. I back tracked, heart racing, and found a few people to walk near. I think what I saw turned out to be an off leash dog, about the same size as a coyote. The dog was very friendly and I think that was what was moving towards me. I’ll take that any day. I don’t usually see critters on the busy paths. We had a lovely clear day. Supposed to rain maybe Wednesday.
How are your walks going with Poppy? Are you able to get out?

Sheba, The Planets looks wonderful to view. We get a lot of fog and overcast conditions that are worse at night and sunrise. Hope it starts to warm up in Oz.

Hikes today and saw a 1 legged Husky and a huge Doberman in booties. The booties make sense because its got little rocks all over and I often wonder if it hurts the dogs paws.
Sounds like Mayfair witches may have a season 3. Did you read the books?
Someone told me she uses a hot compress for her sinus issue and it seems to work. She also takes the antibiotics.

Sheba, That was a great vacuum story.
Your Hubs did a good job and Sharks seem well rated.
Do you still have it? My new Vacuum is a Shark and it had wonderful suction. But it’s a trade off for features from my old one. It’s all good.
In addition to Paradise, I recently started watching Mayfair Witches. Have you seen it before?
It seems pretty good so far.

Hubs says we won’t see it well if at all due to lights and fog and clouds.

Look out for corn, I hear some people get headaches from it.
I’m going to sound like Oodie for a minute, went to Aldis and got a great package of strawberries. Maybe they were premium left over from Valentines Day? And my vacuum broke a few days ago (not repairable) so today I purchased a new one and it has great suction compared to my old one. Each has their benefits though.
Like you we have coyotes venturing through the neighborhoods, I think they have territories and routes.

Hike was the usual and not too eventful. My Fitbit keeps messaging that I am over training but I really don’t trust it. Plus it displayed I was biking when I was very slowly jogging ( or quickly walking 🙂 ). I don’t think it’s that accurate but I still like it.

We have an injured Coyote running around during the day. I call the humane society about it and they said unless the poor coyote is down they don’t do anything. She said they are almost impossible to catch. I am thinking a tranquilizer would work but assume they know better than I would.

Sheba, nice to have some sun in the midst of a cold winter. Love the Possum sneaking in there, makes me laugh. We sometimes have a possum in the backyard. It used to plop under a fence into a bunch of leaves. Haven’t seen him around for a while. Yesterday I went to lunch with 3 other women, 4 hours later I was home…. you might say it went a bit long.
Hiking is nice, we had sun also 🙂
