Sheba, Hope you had a great walk. Being outside does calm the nerves. The friend I told you about said walking really helped her with anxiety.
Love looking as well just not accumulating as much. That’s why I donated. Someone else can enjoy it. If I had to guess, I’d say you could wear 1 piece a day for at least a year 🙂 I think about stuff like this because when I worked in an office some women I know tried to go as long as they could without repeating an outfit. Usually it wasn’t more than a month but still that’s a lot of office clothes. 🙂
Take care Sheba. -
Sheba, Hello and Happy Monday to you. All the flowers are just lovely!
I noticed someone had or has 40% off. You might laugh about this but I put 2 items in my cart, waited a while and removed them. I already had one of the items in 2 other colorways. 🙂
I still might jump. We will see. I donated another Patriotic Pin and earrings last month. I’m done with that for a while.
Hope this week is better for your family and your SIL continues to get well. -
Sheba, Just checking in on you today. How are you doing?
Did your cousin live in CO?
So sad for your family. -
Sheba, you do have a lot to handle.
Sincerely sorry for the loss of your cousin. I know what you mean about telling your Mother.Hope your SIL is feeling better with each day.
We had a little scare today as Hubs thought he lost his cell phone Mtn Biking and he had done a long ride. We all went back to look for the cell phone. Hubs and son took off on their bikes to look , so I decided to walk the parking lot and search the car. I found it in the trunk of the car which was unusual but luckily it worked out. It was a big relief for him. We couldn’t track the phone because it shut down and turned off due to the heat. Imagine that? It was really hot there even for me.

Sheba, Yes, I do remember for sure. Just your surgery sounds like it was extensive in addition to your SIL’s. Sorry if I confused you.

Sheba, fyi only
I continue to have some issue with the HSN web site, in addition to the header issue and logging in and out issues. Beware. It just defaulted the “notify me of email replies” button below and sent me 2 emails from your thread but not my posts…..Have a good evening.

Sheba, Glad your SIL made it through her major surgery. Sucks. I know. If this helps, my hubs gall bladder surgery wasn’t nearly as painful as yours. He was in and out in 1 day and the pain was referral pain later in the night. Your surgery sounds major as well and 8 days is a long time in the hospital in CA. Sorry you were in so much pain. Couldn’t they give you meds for it?
Here’s hoping the best for your SIL. -
Sheba, I thought Oz was too far towards the South for all that cold weather.
Yes, to answer your question, the green of Heidi set does look close to our birthstone which I Love.
Best wishes for the surgery to be over with and in the past. Hope your SIL recovers quickly. -
Sheba, You’re a Heidi Queen of green today! Hope you have the luck of the Irish!

Sheba, Gorgeous!!! And the pictures don’t do the pieces justice. I have the earrings and love how they reflect light. Maybe I will wear them as well.
Do you have plans for tomorrow? -
Sheba, glad they had a great vacation and are safely back home. My plants and flowers are ok but not great. They aren’t used to rain, cold, and hail. The lawn, however is doing well.
I am surprised Oz gets so cold. Hope your hands are warm now.
Above, your post about Vacuums is spot on. I really love this new one as the suction is exceptional.
Hubs flew small planes back in the day. We had fun flying into places in CA. He hasn’t flown since I got pregnant. Long time ago. Yah, saw those people and the plan in CO. It’s crazy. Maybe that’s why airlines still sell so much alcohol.
Have a great evening. -
Oodie, you will love camera monitoring. I get about how people fake it with pets. Once we were at a bakery/cafe and a man came in with a little fluffy dog. They kindly asked him to put the dog outside. He refused and claimed it was a service dog, picking it up as he threatened the workers with the I’m gonna call my lawyer bit. A service dog needs a vest and paper work etc and this dog had none and the man wasn’t fooling anyone. The staff handled it well and I made sure to tip them well. No respect for people like that…
Have a great evening! -
Oodie, Saw your post on another thread about a Marlo. I’m not posting there but was tempted. The poster sounds so disappointed, and maybe a tad unwell. Hope both are ok.
Hey, whatever works for you is great.
I have been sensitive to HOA’s lately because of my own experiences. As long as you know your rights and push back on any bullying.
As fyi, This was interesting. HOAs and Service Animals:
Under federal law, HOAs are required to make reasonable accommodations for service animals, including emotional support animals (ESAs).
No Pet Restrictions:
HOAs cannot impose “no pet policies” that would exclude service animals.
Documentation:
If the need for a service animal is not immediately apparent, the HOA can request documentation to verify the need, such as a letter from a medical professional.
Limited Inquiry:
The HOA can only ask two questions: “Is the animal a service animal required because of a disability?” and “What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?”.
No Information about Disability:
The HOA cannot ask for details about the person’s disability, nor can they require proof of training or certification. -
Sheba, glad you made it through the storm relatively undamaged and the cats were able to feed.
That poor guy who had a tree fall on his car , and with him in it. Hope he recovers soon.
Did your Brother and his wife make it back to Co ok? Hope they are home and safe by now.
You know I won’t ever go to Mexico. Thought about it for Dental Tourism, and met some people who do it, plus some go for Vet care ( Vets fees are outrageous) but it’s still dangerous.
