I’m in a hotel over 100 years old. My husband loves all this history. There is lots in the area, old schoolhouses, some vehicles, buildings etc… We can’t hang out in the room since it’s very, very small. It’s decorated for the holidays and the radio is on, so we are now in a sitting room next to the lobby. I’ll call my Mother when we get back to check in, her case arrived today. My case got here very quickly, it shipped from the west coast.

Sheba, you’ve had a rough year and i know it’s not been easy for you. Glad things are looking up with getting through these final labs and appt’s. Colorado awaits you 🙂

Sporto’s, oh yes, I have the pair I wore from my college snow days but I think you mean my more recent purchases. I have 1 ankle length pair that are black and quilted and great for wet weather, and a pair that are like a duck shoe, gray with some section of flowers, with fuzzy sherpa like lining and it’s matching purse (purse never used, thanks for the reminder). Sporto is a great brand. I have two coats from them as well.
My problem is that recently I went to a Shoe Store for inserts, and learned that my feet have grown, one whole size (whoa). Who knew? So all of my shoes are the wrong size. In retrospect, this explains a lot. Although I would have kept on wearing my usual size because my feet fit in them just fine. Some shoes may vary in size and fit just like our clothing lines… but I should have thought my shoe size changing over time, right?
