Sheba, glad all is well with the kids. If they all live in GA is there a chance you will want to move there? Hope you get to visit there soon. I’m a bit tired. Had to go to Costco and pick up new reading glasses since mine broke on vacation. Hubs likes the new style better than the old style so that’s good. They are lightweight and should be hardy. The traffic was awful. CA is trying to squeeze too many people in with horrible boxy buildings. Yes, ready to leave here. Got my hair colored today and got the scoop on friends Barcelona trip. No water guns, and no visible protests. She stayed in a hotel and had a good time other than being jet lagged (drinking on the plane and continuing onward trooper that she is) My guess is she was very dehydrated. She always has a good time.

Sheba, I guess you’ll have to stick to ice cream, and cold drinks. That UV is strong. On vac I was wearing my hat and sunglasses in the car.
Betty Crocker…. yah, I wish. On that note, my Lidia Kitchen Pasta Pot arrived today. I feel so grown up now. I have always used a mid size sauce pan (that my Mother gave me when she didn’t need it anymore).
Maybe I’ll try her one pot cookbook next.
Hubs helped me a little today with my volunteer project. It’s a lot. I’m tired and not done.

Sheba, there’s a bush right outside my back door that bees love. They seem to stay for a while and then leave each year. I found out they were back when I tries to water it. Oops. Won’t try that again for a while.

Hi, it never occurred to me to be bothered by it which I am not. But everyone is different and I understand if it bothers you.
When my son was little he watched the movie Pearl Harbor and there is a line in the movie where a woman is called “Doll face” . That was my nickname for the next few days.

@hsn_timo, than you for your reply. I reviewed the pictures yesterday. My skin type is probably light medium or medium or in between so it’s confusing to me. I understand I can pick one or the other.

Sheba, Hello! How is your SIS Law doing? Had to do some errands, cleaning and a little baking.
Today I picked up some volunteer activities and have baked potatoes cooking.
I tweaked a muffin recipe and hubs hasn’t noticed and dare I say even likes them. I added Greek yogurt for the oil, no sugar, and Almond flour instead of all purpose flour. He was buying those large store muffins that are basically cake so I tried the recipe 3-4 different ways. It’s good. I added a lot of cinnamon and a little clove also.

@Sheba, Hello! Hope you and the critters are doing well.
Been on vacation on the East Coast, even Shoelady’s area. Yup, It’s pretty hot, humid and rainy there. Saw a lot of American history.
A friend went to Barcelona for a quick trip and it coincided with a lot of anti-tourism protests and I hope to hear about her trip at the end of this week. She has never been before.
What have you been up to lately?

Sheba, welcome home! Sounds like your visits were fun, and glad you made it safely home. Your family sounds awesome and supportive. Love those large homes. We need to move yah still. Happy to hear your SIL is doing well. It makes me happy for her family.
Sorry about your relative that passed. I know what you mean about light going out.
My hydrangeas finally are blooming. It’s just 2 potted plants. They are in their 3rd spot in 2 years. I dug them out of the ground and moved them because they weren’t doing well. Finally….

The flowers look great. Things are blooming lately.
Hopefully you are a better packer with your travels than I am.
I worry a bit about the airports, and weather and if I brought the right clothes or forgot something. Mainly because we don’t check bags. Once I’m there all is good. 🙂
